I've just read the announcement that they may be closing down the forums because they don't have anybody to patrol them or do community management (it is in the announcement section on this spoiler forum).

 

I hope they don't do that... it seem they will decide this next week on the 7th. I am having fun just hanging around and commenting on the game.

I hope they find someone to do what they need to keep the boards open as well. I like this board.

This board is a lot friendlier than some of the others I've seen.

It would be a shame if they did, but unfortunately it wouldn't be a suprise, after reading all the whinging and sledging of their company from various people here. Must get them down a bit, eh.

That would be my bet on the real reasons of why the forums might actually close.

I think the "real" reason is likely exactly what they've stated. I don't see why it has to necessarily have anything to do with some whining - they can look at the board and see how loved the game is as well (fan-art, for instance.)
