More religious bone-headedness

Free will. You have free will. Good or evil. Easy.
God and only God decides a persons fate.

Which one is it?

I don't necessarily think that these things are mutually exclusive. Is it not possible to give a person free will, and then god determines their fate based on their decisions? Why do judgements need to be done before a person has actually lived?

Two bits I'd like to comment on.

1. Two plus two does equal four, complex numbers notwithstanding. :o

2. There is no contradiction between free will and predetermination. In fact the whole concept of judgement and will depends on a belief in determination. The concept of predetermination is usually associated with God or perhaps Fate as a surrogate for God. :)

The argument is that since God knows all things for all times, of course he knows all of our choices and the outcomes of our choices and all other factors for all of our lives. Anything less makes a demi-god rather than a God. :)

As dark is the absence of light, so evil is the absence of good.

If you would destroy evil, do good.

Evil cannot be perfected. Thank God.
