I love story about tempting of the dark and redemption.

Theres just something about a hero realizing the error of his ways and seeking redemption for his sins.

Lightside. Both KotOR 1 and 2's story made more sense when the main character was a Lightsider.

I just started my first time through and said Revan was good. Without anybody giving any spoilers, is the game different if I had told Atton that Revan was bad?

a few minor things but nothing too serious

Bah, weaklings. Yay for cruel things that you can randomly do! Note that I haven't actually played KOTOR I (completely anyway, but I just played my friend's copy for a while) but for the amount of time that I did, I found that I like being deliciously evil and squishy.

 same

Bah, you're all weaklings I say! WEAKLINGS! Evil Jedi are like:

I was Neutral, bordering light. Then I reversed it all to fully dark in what I thought was the crappiest design choice ever. and I also killed carth, the whiny prick.
