to make a patch with the better ending and story line.

Raven did something like this for Star Trek: Elite Force.

When the Elite Force came out. Jeri Ryan didnt do the voice of her character in the game. So they had a replacement. Then Raven finaily got Jeri Ryan too voice act her character in Star Trek: Elite Force. So in patch 1.20 we finaily get to hear Jeri Ryan playing 7 of 9.

Is it possbial for Lucas Arts to give Obsidian more money and hire back all the voice actors to fix the ending?

No. Lucasarts wouldn't allow it.

ummm why? I mean if you going to say something with such conviction atleast try to form a supporting arguement.

Why? LucasArts is the BigBadEvilPublsihertm. Their mission in life is to make games as horrible as possible, and ruin us gamer's fun.

Lets be fair with LA.

Their mission is: Make a great game first (i.e Jedi Outcast, KOTOR) and make money on just good but hastily done sequels that people will buy hoping for something on par with the first game.

there would be no patch for the xbox users. 'they'd get royally shafted, compared to the pc users just getting shafted when it came to release dates...

Also known as the Lucas Standards of Practice. If anything KotOR II felt very much like a traditional Star Wars sequel (Empire Strikes Back, aside). It made me cringe and want to play the original again very much like Episodes I and II made me long for the first trilogy. I'm just afraid there will come a day where KotOR V will make KotOR II look like a masterpiece.

That said, The Sith Lords was an excellent game that stands out above the quality that most games seem to settle for these days. It's a shame that it was rushed.
