According to IGN.com's site they make this claim in their cheats section for KOTOR 2:

"Unlockable: Secret Compartment on Ebon Hawk:

Ask the "Original owner" of the Ebon Hawk (Nar Shaadda) for proof of ownership of the Ebon Hawk and he will rattle off Ebon Hawk facts including the location of 2 secret compartments. They can

You meet a dude next to the entrance to the refugee sector claiming the Ebon Hwk is his shiphe'll tell you of a secret compartment in the starboard dormitory on the Ebon Hawk in which you find some useful items.

I know the itmes in the game are random, but did you get anything of any particular value??

Hmm, I thought that this was a reference to KotOR1 and the secret compartment in the cargo hold. As for the starboard dorm, found that.

The copartment is one of the few things in the game that isn't randomly generatedyou get a heavy blaster pistol, a life support pack, 400 credits, a mandalorian power shield, and a few stimulants.

in other words, the loot isnt really that great.

i think the best part of that whole conversation, rather than the loot and hidden compartments, is the fact it adds to the story about how the ebon hawk seems to pass through various owners over its time.

Ah, ok, thank you for the info.

It would've been totally cool if you got Revan's robes and/or lightsaber or a top secret datapad that Revan or Bastila left to you or something like that in the Ebon Hawk's secret compartment.

The stuff that you get now just sounds like stuff you can get in any plasteel cylinder anywhere.

or maybe tie it in to the whole "getting in with the exchange" plot. afterall, davik was the owner before revan, so maybe he had some secret documents about the exchange that you could find and use to get you in favor with the exchange on nar shadaa.

they should have put more secret stuff in the game for people who played the first one. that would have been cool.

or have it so that it goes off you latest data about reven from your KOTOR1 save.

They where originally gonna do that, but.. they didnt :) lol.. I saw a developer chat on gamespot.com :)

would have been cool to loot something from the ship Revan left behind, maybe like the book Obi-Wan had, in order for Luke to continue his training, maybe Revan could have left something like that behind so the Exile could learn, or teach other Jedi, so if Revan dies, he isnt the last of the Jedi?

Or maybe a document with the names of owners of the ebon hawk on it, or some sort of diary to tell you what happened, and why the ship was destroyed? :)

Some awesome title name here

Secret compartment.... that is the key word. It wasn't in K1 so how would any of Revan's gear get in it? Did he just happen to stumble across it. I don't think the Ebon Hawk comes with an owner
