Got to love marketing havnt you...

In Japan this was called Die for me.
In the US feel the magic

and now Project Rub

Project Rub's hero has a sunny beauty on his mind, and he's doing everything he can to score a date with her. He enlists the help of the Rub Rabbits a suave gang of super performers who wear plastic, members-only rabbit ears to help him get her attention. Through a series of madcap performances like defending himself from bulls and blowing out giant candles, our hero manages to impress the girl. When he finally takes her out, the craziness really begins: a rival suddenly appears and a dark cloud is cast over their love. Will he ever be able to feel the magic of true love?
Welcome to the utterly weird world of Project Rub, the insanely addictive game where you'll have to flick, blow, poke, stroke and rub your way into your girl's affections. With 30 increasingly bizarre love matches, from poking balls to vomiting goldfish, you'll have to use the power of touch, voice and even your breath to bring the game to its climax.

Features:

A love story played through 30 unique games as you compete for the lady of your dreams
Innovative DS hardware with touch screen interface allows gamers to interact with software like never before
Rubbing is the new LOVING, using the stylus pen, rub the screen to win the heart of your sweet heart
Blow her away, certain mini games require you to blow on the screen to save your damsel in distress
Discover the secrets of "Super Performance", "Love Scene" and the "Miracle of Love"

The Blurb could have been written by Finnbar Saunders himself...

I think I liked it better before I read that.

In case you are wondering its a Nintendo DS game.

The "rub" is one of the things you can do in the DS (it have a touch screen), that game also uses the DS microphone.

They'll just add the japanese romance dating simulation thing in NWN2. Over 60 half elf paladins to romanticize! It'll be a hit, I tell you.

Die for me ( I refuse to call it project rub) is kind of like a less hectic single player version player of Wario Ware.

According to an interview from it's creator it's supposed to be about the extremes some people will go to for love (hence the title).
The games themselves are rather innovative making full use of the various DS input methods.

Heres another one of those non combat RPGs as well.

Looks like they took advance wars DS off the release list.
