EnderAndrew Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I'm rather excited about the forms. I can't wait to buy this game.
Tainted Mustard Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I think Obsidian did a good job considering they only had a single year to make refinements to the engine, which they didn't even develop themselves. Developers who have worked on Ultima Online and have spent one or two years with the engine still find new bugs that previous developers never found or even left behind. And sometimes they unintentionally introduce new bugs by implementing a feature that doesn't sit well with other parts of the code. Bigger engine, but same idea. It's not always laziness.
EnderAndrew Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I agree. It's never easy working in someone else's code.
icu Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Ender,I wouldn't get too excited if I was you, more than likely you will be let down by the forms.
Naso Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I'm not saying it's easy, but that they should have accounted for that, and didn't. I mean, as nice as it would be, I am not going to spend 50 dollars to give them an A for effort...........
