GSpotFrenzy Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 Overall great job. A little buggy in some spots and some of the looping dialogue got annoying. I wish they had coded it to remove questions I'd already asked. SPOILERS... very subtle touches I liked. Bastila only got 2 lines, but they were good. And Kreia makes reference to this when she speaks of Revan leaving, saying "It would have helped if he had tried to make her understand...she was always headstrong that one, and did not know war as Revan did" And Carth asking the Exile to tell Revan that he is still serving his last order. I do wonder why they left some of the masters out.(zhar, vandar) Of course kreia stepping in and murduring vandar would be weird. But no one liked vrook anyway. It was interesting that Kreia makes mention of the fetts (boba and jango...as far as what happens to the legacy of the mandalorians) but does not mention dantooine gets destroyed. Now I have to play it again, because there was much left uncompleted. That's another small gripe. It almost feels the game isnt long enough to get it all done in a normal course and still be advancing the story at all.
Darth_Taros Posted December 11, 2004 Posted December 11, 2004 what do you mean-Bastila only got 2 lines, but they were good. And Kreia makes reference to this when she speaks of Revan leaving, saying "It would have helped if he had tried to make her understand...she was always headstrong that one, and did not know war as Revan did" - Explain
GSpotFrenzy Posted December 11, 2004 Author Posted December 11, 2004 what do you mean-Bastila only got 2 lines, but they were good. And Kreia makes reference to this when she speaks of Revan leaving, saying "It would have helped if he had tried to make her understand...she was always headstrong that one, and did not know war as Revan did" -Explain <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After you save Telos, Carth wishes to speak with you about a mutual friend...he asks if you know where Revan is. You tell him no, and he seems upset. He says that Revan was remembering things and still had a fight to fight and left everyone 4 years ago, and no one had seen him since. He feared Revan dead. Before he left Revan told Carth to defend the Republic and Carth asks you if you see Revan to tell him Admiral Onasi is following his order. After you leave the room bastila comes out and says one or two lines about wishing she knew where he was etc etc...(cant remember the exact words). Later on after you beat Kreia she is telling the future and such and says you will go and rejoin revan, and none of your friends will go with you..because it's a place where you cant take people you love and still expect to survive, and Revan knew it. So Kreia makes a comment about Bastila (not saying her name) that she was hurt in revan's departure, but did not know war as Revan did
Ulicus Posted December 12, 2004 Posted December 12, 2004 It was interesting that Kreia makes mention of the fetts (boba and jango...as far as what happens to the legacy of the mandalorians) but does not mention dantooine gets destroyed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Probably because it isn't. Unless it happens in the EU... I'm not too well read up on the NJO. "
nightcleaver Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Hmm... you might talk to Visas Marr about what happened to her homeworld, then talk with Kreia to discover what happened to those two... If you don't care about me just telling you, though... They died on Katarr, when Nihilus devoured the planet. The Jedi were gathering to see how to face the new threat to the galaxy, but instead drew his attention and were killed for it.
starwarskid15_19 Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 what two are you talking about nightcleaver the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
Darth Nuke Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 "It was interesting that Kreia makes mention of the fetts (boba and jango...as far as what happens to the legacy of the mandalorians)" What did she say? KOTOR 2 must be completed
nightcleaver Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 She didn't say those names. She said they'd die a slow death over many millenia; nothing we didn't know already.
Tainted Mustard Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 Empires rise and fall like the tides. The fate of the Mandalorians didn't surprise me at all. A non-Sensitive could have predicted their future.
sinister_sith Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 She didn't say those names. She said they'd die a slow death over many millenia; nothing we didn't know already. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but boba fett escapes the sarlacc he's in jedi academy
Darth Nuke Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 They may die a slow death, but we haven't seen it yet. The Mandalorians lost a lot over the 4000 year period, but as of right now Fenn Shysa is rebuilding the Mandalorians. KOTOR 2 must be completed
Tainted Mustard Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 I think I'm missing something - when does she mention the Fetts? And it's Alderaan that's destroyed - Dantooine was spared, insofar as at least surviving the OT. What happens to it in the EU novels, well, I don't know. Don't care, either. Never read them, never going to.
