Maybe the Handmaiden is a Soldier, too. IIRC Akari said once upon a time that some NPCs would change from a non-Jedi class into a Jedi one during the game and she is the most obvious candidate...
December 3, 200421 yr Author I think Disciple is just as obvious for that sort of thing. I don't think Handmaiden looks like the soldier type, but maybe. A Tech Specialist is kind of like an organic T3-M4 that will actually talk to you. A scout is, well, just a cross between a soldier and a scoundrel. "You shall not pass!"

December 3, 200421 yr Please bear in mind that I'm using RealStarWarsd20<tm> here, but... Tech specialists have slightly weaker reflex and will saves, less skillpoints per level, 1d6 HD instead of 1d8, and the ability to craft items. Yes, they have less skillpoints, but they're also more likely to have a higher intelligence score than a scout. Also, their class skills are much different. I've not a blessed clue how Obsidian has chosen to interpret the differences, but I hope that helps. --Gheralt

December 3, 200421 yr My guesses for Tech Specialist in TSL: 5 skill points and 6 hp per level, Feat progression between Soldier and Scout, BAB as scout, Light armour proficiency, melee, pistol and rifle proficency, Bonus Feats: Gear Head & Implant automatically upgraded at the appropiate level. Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!
