Characters in KOTOR II

Recommended Posts

OK, so we know that there are ten character slots and they go as follows:

1. T3-M4

2. HK-47

3. Kreia

4. Mira

5. Atton

6. ????

7. ????

8. ????

9. ????

10. Apprentice.

Just think, we're only four slots away from knowing them all.

HK-47 joins your group somehow...

i doubt an apprentice but if we do get one it is atris

I've only heard it in OXM, but I don't think the devs have confirmed it...

Why would you doubt an apprentice? I think it would be atris also, mainly because it seems that she will play a big role....but i think most people would want an apprentice to save or corrupt than a master...and remember Devs, give the people what they want... :(

I can't quite imagine how having an apprentice would work. At what level do you get one? To what level do you train him? It would be ridiculous to have an apprentice while the character himself is level 5; on the other hand it would be frustrating in more than one way to take one on, as the game is heating up towards the end, and deal with him while trying to beat the game, and then leave him at level 2 when it's over. There would also need to exist quests, or a significant part of the main quest would have to involve your apprentice, so that taking an apprentice would be *reasonable* at all, and wouldn't remain an inert 'feature'.

What the devs. have revealed so far is that master-apprentice relationships will play an important role in the story; that doesn't necessarily mean we'll take on an apprentice. My guess is that the plot involves a big DS master - LS former apprentice confrontation, or one between a fallen apprentice and a LS master. That's where I think the 'master-apprentice relationship' will fit in.

where has it been posted by a DEV that we get an apprentice....link it please

In some interviews they said one theme about this game was the master/apprentice relationship. I think that's where the speculation came from. That doesn't necessarily mean to me that you get an apprentice.

Then why not take them on when you are at least level 15? You don't really have to train him, just talk to him and tell him stuff, he will level up on his own...

That doesn't seem as fun... :p

Gratz for clarifying that,

I take it back OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN there will be an apprentice :D

I only doubted it because you are an apprentice at the beginning of the game yourself.

Atris = love affair and apprentice....well im never going to school and looking at my teachers in the same way again lol

Yup it would be very cool if Obsidian pull it off right, you may even get a sense of achievment when the game ends unlike in the original KotOR when i tried to turn Malak back to the lightside it depressed me that it was infact i....or you Revan that turned him to his enigmatic fate in the end anyway :p
