The PC is nowhere around and the BBEG is monologuing at the damsel in distress.

And this is why a PC must be silent in RPGs.

From this point on, I was just skipping the cutscenes.

The game really did not like me doing it. The room is locked and I cannot teleport out (no skills).

The game ignored the settings for the area, so FPS dropped to 15-19.

Every time I see RNG in dialogues and the panel being on the side, I blame Disco Elysium.
It is a demo, by the way. The full version currently costs more than I am willing to pay for the perpetual annoyance of the poor UI. I have small hopes that the developers might fix it.

I've figured out why the wind/trees have super strong wind dynamics. It's so characters hair will fly around beautifully! Not so obvious here, but some of the longhaired witch's hair movement is awesome. Wasn't at all into Kliff's looks until they put in the "don't show helmet" feature, and suddenly in the wind he's kinda generic-stoic handsome, and it's mainly the hair movement. :P

I don't know what weapon this guy is using, but I want it. All they dropped was the fuel tanks tho. :/

This needs to become an actual permanent pet you can acquire, not just a temp one you can "steal" from enemy and use for a play session. Like, STAT.

Bunch a guys riding giant iguanas or something attacked me for no reason. So I killed half of them, then stole one of their rides and killed the other half. The little beasties even had a purple spit ranged attack. That was pretty fun. Alas, couldn't perm keep the ride, as usual. Why do the enemies have all the hotrods.

Mundane sights you sometimes see while randomly roaming. Mundane, but nifty enough to admire for a few moments, before shooting them full of arrows because I need their antlers. :P

Also, the writing was weird - not sure if was misogyny or misandry (we are not cannon fodder), but most of the dialogues use "men" instead of "people", while the strongest squad at that point consisted of women and the units were changing their gender expression depending on class.

The Classic portrait face looks like a poorly-peeled potato. The new one is fairly decent.

It is a bit later. Mixed feelings, but we've got an extra squad.

RGB dragons.

The party has "interesting" ideas. The enemy is a significant chunk of the population. But the survivors will need less resources, so it evens out.

Some of the later battles showed that the quality is more important that the quantity of the dragons.

On one hand, the attempts at writing reflection are welcome. On the other, it still sounds funny. Yes, our friend is confident that destroying her enemies is a good thing.

Actually, the highest point of the writing - the MC has enough long-term memory. But also the assumption that the random civilians were aware that the MC was framed.

Positive attitude. Sometimes, you get framed and executed, but with the right attitude you definitely can come back.

Unless the paladin gets creative, he will feel only one hit either way.

Skyborn was generally nice but Echoes of Aetheria became very obnoxious to finish.

I think I had seen the other Dancing Dragon games before purchasing SoW, but they seemed like more generic RPGMaker games and I quite strongly dislike the JRPG combat in them. There are some exceptions (Crystal Tactics and Trans Theft Horso), but most go with the defaults.

Could you please let me know what you liked and disliked about the Dancing Dragon titles?
