The main story

The PC is nowhere around and the BBEG is monologuing at the damsel in distress.

And this is why a PC must be silent in RPGs.

From this point on, I was just skipping the cutscenes.

The game really did not like me doing it. The room is locked and I cannot teleport out (no skills).

Another softlock - the PC died, then the boss died and a cutscene started, so I had to Alt+F4 to reload.

I joined the not-Ewoks faction after completing several quests for them and still needed books to learn about them.

The quest was the opposite of epic.
