February 27, 20223 yr Can we get the RNG adjusted when attempting to dig up grubs vs. larva? It's been like a week and every time I try to dig up a grub I've gotten larva constantly! I only got grubs twice, every other freaking time it was a larva back-to-back! I get if you run, the larva digs back under, but even killing them and digging again on a new dirt trail, it just spawns another larva! They're annoying enough encountering them above-ground.
February 28, 20223 yr you can tell whether your about to dig up a grub or larva. Larva have a deeper rumbling noise when they're under the ground whereas grubs have a lighter sound when in the ground.

March 3, 20223 yr Maybe it’s a bug for some clients, since some people have more grub than larva. Edited March 3, 20223 yr by Nicholas Berstecher
March 3, 20223 yr I dunno for me b the oak tree is 99% bug if I dig in a burrow or by one of the juice boxes it's always a larvae If you see light at the end of the tunnel get out of the road!
March 3, 20223 yr Yeah, sounds like a bug maybe. I don’t know why it would work though on some clients and not on others. Hopefully the developers can fix whatever the problem might be for those who have this bug. With anything, I might have it too; i just probably don’t know it because I don’t go grub hunting.
April 27, 20223 yr Author Still getting constant larvae spawns, regardless if the rumble is low or loud, hope the Bug Strikes Back update will fix the grub spawn rate for those of us with issues 😕
May 2, 20223 yr Good place for grubs.....no larva at all.....it's under the shed where the green beetle/gun/and 'twinkle toes' take up residence. Stay to the right next to the fallen twig and the beetle will ignore you. Plenty there with a fast respawn. Hope this helps. Edited May 3, 20223 yr by LadyBugWins
May 3, 20223 yr I normally go to the Oak tree for grubs and so far, only find larva with the louder/deep rumbling noise & grubs with the more silent noise—so far.
