October 28, 20205 yr Nothing specific done prior, this happens in a brand new save, in creative, and in a pre-existing world. Whenever you try to place a wall at a 45 degree diagonal placement, the game will instead correct it to a 'straight' 90 degree angle to the corresponding grid layout.
October 28, 20205 yr Bump been dealing with this all day, tried stems and grass, tried fence railings, tried putting them on triangle floors and not, tried with ceilings and without. same results everytime, had someone else try it also, same thing.
October 29, 20205 yr I've also had this problem. Fences, walls, I place them diagonally but as soon as I left-click to confirm, they straighten out. It's made building very difficult.
November 4, 20205 yr Hi I just posted the same issue then found this one. I have the same problem go to place walls at a 45゚ angle they snap at 90゚ off grid. This issue seemed to have started over the weekend just past
November 7, 20205 yr I'm having the same problem. It's really irritating trying to build a base when nothing aligns and attaches.
November 10, 20205 yr I have this issue as well similar but just as frustrating issue... if i place a wall on a 90゚ but half way down from level with the ground as is common when making sky bridges the wall builds at just off the 90゚ axis... maybe like 89
November 11, 20205 yr Ive found that this is affecting many things like zip anchors, lean to, etc. It is currently unplayable as far as base building at a serious level. Ive continued saves and started new files for testing and recieved the same results. *Seems like pieces once snapped and blueprinted will turn to whatever "unsnapped" angle you were on. Hope it helps. Edited November 11, 20205 yr by Lodi * edit added and I sounded like an arse lol.
