Hello friends! For the first time, Obsidian will be offering an official summer internship program!

There are plenty of positions open, from Audio Design, Concept Art, Community Manager, and more!

For more details about the program itself, and to see all of the positions open, visit the Jobs > Internships page today!

I assume this is all over and done with for the year? Were you able to hire anyone with COVID ?

Will there be another set of summer internships for that summer of 2022?

I am interested if this summer I can apply for the internship program? As a student, I want to have as much experience in this field as possible because, in the last university, I used https://edubirdie.com/research-paper-editing-service, and I didn't manage to learn enough. The research paper editing service helped me a lot because I was working in parallel, but now I don't work anymore, and I want to do my best to make up for what I lost.

Can someone help me? I get a cloudflare error every time I try to submit my application for the Internship. I tried contacting support but I haven't received a response. What can I do?cloudflareError.thumb.jpg.398b28720cf77235c17e2fe4ca30b50f.jpg

Hey @Notserpent!

I'm sorry you are running into trouble trying to submit an application for the internship program. If you would like, feel free to send us the following information (at least the things marked by an asterisk) by emailing us at support@obsidian.net and the Recruiting Team can manually get you added.

  • *First Name:
  • *Last Name:
  • *Email Address:
  • *Phone #:
  • Address:
  • *Are you Willing to Relocate?:
  • Linkedin Profile URL:
  • Website, blog, or portfolio link:

Other than the above if you can attach your resume and any other documents you might have, that would be a big help.

Thanks again for letting us know of your interest in joining us for the internship and I hope to hear from you soon!

@SChin

Hello! I wanted to let you know that I had the same exact error with submitting the application as Notserpent as well. I've tried over multiple days, different devices, and different networks, and I always get the hose-side error page. I just wanted to give the heads up that I sent in my application to the obsidian support email address as well!

Hey @Trinmob89,

I'm sorry you are running into the same issue. I may have already been told about you having this issue as someone from our Player Support team asked me to test the site to make sure applications were still coming in and indeed they still are and does allow us to submit on various browsers and PCs. We aren't quite sure why you and Notserpent are running into this issue, but our backend web developer is trying to figure out what the cause might be.

In any case, you did the right thing reaching out to the support channels as they will get your resume submitted for you 😀

One question that did come to mind was if you happen to use any VPN software? I'm curious if that might affect our system from interacting with users.

Hopefully we can get this sorted out so you and others don't run into this issue in the future.

Thank you for letting us know about this issue and for submitting an application to join us on our adventures in making worlds for our players!

@SChin

Thank you so much for the reply! I'm glad to hear the support team will get in my application, it worried me that I couldn't submit on the website.

As far as I know, I'm not using a VPN at all. If it helps troubleshooting: I'm using a MacBook Pro, attempted to use safari and google to submit, and tried using Wifi network and cellular, with none working. (I would try to recreate the issue to possibly help you troubleshoot the problem, but the applications are closed). If there's anything that you want me to try and help, since the problem is occurring on my device, please let me know and I'm happy to help!

Again, thank you so much for the reply, I hope the issue is fixed soon! I attached the screenshot of the error page from earlier just in case it helps.
