baldurs_gate_2 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 It's more or less only important for the paladin class. Example: Before you reach neketaka for the first time, you speak to the gods and have the option, to [say nothing] for stoic (goldpact knight) a couple of times and you will get always a point in it. So, when you talk to somebody else and there is only one option for stoic or rational, will the game save that over until you reach the number of speech checks you need for one more reputation point or not?
Sire Of The Shadow Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Well and companion/faction quests. Other than that I’ve found no use.
Theosupus Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I found tons of conversation differences based on my reputation differences between play-throughs.I did 1 play-through with a Bleak-walker multi and another with a kind wayfarer and there were plenty of aggressive/thug responses or benevolent/nice guy ones respectively.

Yeah that was not the question. I have 3 rational and 3 stoic atm. I talked to arkemyr for the quest and i had the option to stay "stoic" for about 4 - 5 times in the whole conversation, but i did not get a +1 at the end. So maybe you can only receive one point towards the cap you need in each conversation, to gain another reputation point.
