Is it possible to sell your old ship when you upgrade?  I can't figure out how.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think so, I never found any way to sell old ships at least. As far as I know, there's nothing in the game that will allow you to sell the ship. It's a shame, because the starting ship should be worth 10k or so which would go a decent bit of the way toward a Junk. Because of the inability to sell the ship, I've upgraded straight to a junk from the starting ship in every game.

Well the Junk now costs 104k (with a diecount) in 1.2 so selling the Sloop wouldn't be as useful for it.

I'd rather send them on missions. In PoE1 I sent Eder to the Living Lands so why not put all those excess crew members in a spare ship and have them visit the White That Wends or whatever?

Until something like that is available, I'm already planning at least two mutinies for my next character, just to make things interesting. Maybe not everyone will appreciate my Corpse Eater's cuisine.
