... Eothasian? He has an Eothasian prayer book on his desk, and he wants to turn back time.

Now I feel kind of bad for him.

If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time.

Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.

You know I noticed this but did not think twice.  maybe he was..  I don't know but he was a superb a hole...I cannot feel bad for a guy who wants my soul to power time magic even for his god(if your theory is right).  Also he was a lich usually not the most savory of individuals.

Have gun will travel.

I thought it was related to his desire to keep himself alive. He was obsessed with self preservation. Even one of his lessons to his students was what he thought was a wizard's greatest enemy. Death or something like that.

Besides, as Deadfire shows, you don't need to feel bad about killing him, as it was clearly only an inconvenience...

Besides, his skull is just the coolest pet EVER !  Especially for a Monk.

(of course, once you have the skull, you are required to rename your character Harry.  Mandatory.)

I think he is happier as a pet. How can you enjoy Aedyran ale and candied nuts while you are busy with your students and metaphysical studies?

He HAS to become a pet skull !  Harry will NEED him.
