You can buy the breastplate in perikis overlook. Hope you looked that up there and not in your ship cabin xd

What about the blood sacrifice, effigy resentment and gift from the machine?

Survival of the Fittest gives gift from the machine. Or at least I have Gift from the Machine after Hosongo with Survival of the Fittest history.

Which custom answer gives you the whisper parts? That you forged it i assume or that you didnt?

Finally got my custom history Great Sword lady to the ship. By selecting NOT to reforge the sword I have both sword fragments. So if you want the Estoc or Great Sword choose no when asked if you had it reforged in the history.

 

 

As for the topic, Since the blood pool bonus is supposed to come after Hasongo that means Survival of the fittest didn't kill off any of your allies. So

I actually wonder if any of the presets have you sacrificing anyone. I mean how would it pick which companion bit the dust? Figure they would just avoid that and leave that entirely to the player's import or custom history.

I used a custom one, where i sacrificed Eder and should have got +1 Might, but nothing happened.
