Game crash while switching companions at sea

How to 100% replicate:

1. Dismiss one companion

2. Take another companion in his place

3. Enter inventory tab and put some other weapon in that companion's weapon slot

4. Exit the inventory tab and dismiss that companion

5. Take another companion in his place and BOOM - the game crashes

I'm getting this exact  same error (i.e. game crashes after switching party members at sea).  I don't know if I've doing steps 3 and 4 every time, but I'm certainly getting this crash, seemingly about 1-2 times a day.

Not quite sure but I think some chars are ok.
Last time I switched Pallegina into my party and confirmed the change, the game crashed though.
