My supplies are full and I have master surgeon, why I can't help them? Do I need certain medicine?

for your question...one dialog option was for to visit plague ship/discuss with surgeon = see spoiler for my actions

my playing - spoiler:

 

 

I found sea-item called Plagued ship north of Ori O Koiki
my surgeon: Eld Engrim (expert surgeon, sailexp 83, 3 stars)

first session:
crew is nervous, spy glass examination of plague ship, dialogue with their crew

second session:
i selected call/aboard/examine from options, found bone frost disease
so you lost 15 morale

finale:
you can accept gift box (aegors swift touch glowes) or not accept,
for medication you lost 5 med supplies
gain some crew experience
later on open sea, one of your crew got bonefrost too = minus 10 morale

Apparently you can't help them if you hired Big Mouth like I did. I guess Vithrack don't know how to cure the plague?

No others can't help. Also after helping I always have the plague on my ship with massive morale losts while I try to get rid of it. It could be that: 1) its not possible to heal them, 2) there is only a small chance for success or 3) you need a master rank surgeon, which is not available in the game because a crew member can only get 4 stars for all jobs and there is no specialist surgeon in the game.

You can prevent the plague if you have the Minor Intercession priest spell

Never had trouble healing them before with Shieldsister Daelia (I think her name is). 3 star surgeon if that's important.

 

Edit: Healing came up on 3 occasions. 4th one had a dead crew.

I also had Shieldsister Daelia (with 3 stars in surgeon job). I always had the bad ending for the plague ships, so I think it is chance based and had just bad luck.

Btw I manage to save 2( after change Big Mouth to kith surgeon ), one no survivor, I heard there is one more. Do anyone know the location of all plague ship?

But if we endure the plague, my crew will gain experience

I always helped them out, the 'send your sickest person over and we'll check them out'.  Give them supplies, get a gift (some are nice), get the plague a bit later.  You get multiple morale hits doing this, but just get into another sea fight, and share the coin.  I had a priest (Xoti, priestess of Guan), never had the Intercession option, guessing you need a specific spell, not just 'praying'.
