Hello! I just published a mod for a variety of new choices for class/subclass/multiclass for all of the companions and sidekicks. These are just mods that I did for my own personal playthroughs over the years but I figured I would publish them on the off chance that anyone else might want to use them too. The link for anyone that's interested: https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/657 Edit: copying some of the mod description here directly: These are my personal class/subclass/multiclass modifications made to companions/sidekicks over the course of many playthroughs. I wanted to play lots of different combinations but don't like using hired adventurers so this was my solution. Included are: Aloth: Bloodmage, Transmuter+Tactitican, Unbroken+Illusionist, Priest of Woedica Eder: Blackjacket+Streetfighter, Tactician+Cipher, Unbroken+Trickster, Priest of Wael Fassina: Ancient, CorpseEater+Shifter, Evoker+Assassin, Shifter+Conjuror Konstanten: Beckoner+Berserker, Helwalker+Ghostheart, Mageslayer, Shifter+Nalpazca Maia: ArcaneArcher, Gunhawk+Assassin, Gunhawk+Cipher, Stalker Mirke: ForbiddenFist, ShatteredPillar, Skald+Debonaire Pallegina: Bleakwalker, Troubador+Goldpact Rekke: Berserker+Devoted, Enchanter+Bellower, Fury+Helwalker Serafen: Mageslayer, Psion, Priest of Skaen, Soulblade+Furyshaper Tekehu: Lifegiver Vatnir: CorpseEater, Rogue+Skald Xoti: Priest of Gaun+Streetfigher, ShatteredPillar, Priest of Skaen Ydwin: Beckoner+Soulblade, Beguiler+Trickster, Psion+Priest of Berath

Through a convoluted method it's possible to make a .character file containing a companion, making them hireable from an Inn, so I thought I'd make a package that contains all companions and sidekicks in Deadfire. Deadfire_Companions_at_Inn.zip Vatnir.zip (Requires Beast of Winter) Place the .character files in: %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity II\ExportedCharacters Each character is set to their default class, however this can be changed using the Reclassify Companions mod. I'm not really sure if there'll be many applications for this. Having these character in an S4 run (likely some modification will need to be made to certain conversations for them to progress properly) is pretty much the only thing I can think off top of my head is. I haven't done any very extensive tests, to see how stable a means of recruiting these characters this is way is. I wouldn't be very surprised if there are some strange behaviours and bugs during certain scenes though. Vatnir, for example, almost certainly will be very broken without Beast of Winter installed (or not hireable at all). Mirke being added as a sidekick by the Rum Runner's Pack DLC, it's very likely that you'll run into issues with her as well but I am not sure. From the small amount of testing I've done: The recruit button doesn't work for characters currently in the scene. Just like with adventurers it's not possible to hire 2 of the same character. When speaking to most characters they'll play their introductory conversation. Unless they have some kind of prerequisite (such as Mirke and Fassina) they'll then swap to their normal dialogue once you agree to their "joining" your party. Fassina automatically walks up to the counter when entering the Dark Cupboard. Konstanten will start his introductory SSS conversation after a delay when recruited in the arena inn. I would advise against importing a companion during character creation, when adding the actual Eder to the party he got teleported way up the beach, as well as some other strange results... This is caused by having the same voice as a companion.

DOWNLOAD FROM THE NEXUS _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ain't no one gonna tell you what you can and can't do with quest items! This is a simple mod that allows you to sell, destroy, and freely use equippable quest items. Before, you had to keep equippable quest items in an active party member's inventory or have them actively equipped. When party members with these items weren't in the active party, the item would automatically go to the stash- and you would have to re-equip the item. With this mod, that is no longer needed! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Items Affected: _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Installation: Download the .zip file of your choice and extract the contained folder to your override folder. The override folder is typically located at: \Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Compatibility: This mod should work with all versions of Pillars of Eternity 2 and it's expansions. This mod should be compatible with any other mod except anything that modifies the EquippableGameData ItemComponent of "IsQuestItem" of the items listed above. No Strings were used in the creation of this mod. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Version History: 1.0 - Innitial Release _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tools Used: Visual Studio Code JSON Tools by Erik Lynd Markdown _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Like my mod? DOWNLOAD FROM THE NEXUS _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sick of having a gross looking, low quality, brown and blue cloak? Look no further! Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak is one of the best cloaks in the game, but seems to use a low resolution texture from a cloak in the original Pillars of Eternity. This mod changes the model, texture, inventory icon, and item icon to make it more appealing. The mod comes in two flavors: Normal - Replaces the appearance of Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak with that of the Champions Cloak (Requires Seeker, Slayer, Survivor) Vanilla - Replaces the appearance of Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak with that of the Dark Gray Cloak (Compatible with everything) _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Installation: Download the .zip file of your choice and extract the contained folder to your override folder. The override folder is typically located at: \Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Compatibility: Seeker, Slayer, Survivor is required for the normal version of this mod. If you do not have Seeker, Slayer, Survivor installed, you can use the Vanilla version instead. This mod should be compatible with any other mod except anything that modifies the EquippableGameData ItemComponents of "IconTextureSmall` and "IconTextureLarge", or the EquippableComponent of `ModelVisualDataPath" of Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak. No Strings were used in the creation of this mod. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Version History: 1.0 - Innitial Release _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tools Used: Visual Studio Code JSON Tools by Erik Lynd Markdown _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Like my mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/366 This mod offers a choice of the 8 voice sets from the first game that can be used alongside those already in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire! The installation is quite simple*, the zips are set up to extract all the necessary files to the correct directories. And won't require overwriting any of the default audio files to work. While there are some lines unique to Deadfire - such as acknowledging loot picking up & equipping rare loot, and rare selections lines for every voice set - ideally these should all sound quite close to how they did in the original game. I had actually intended to release this alongside the custom voice guide I wrote several months ago. Something that would act as a simple proof of concept. However each voice seemed to have their own weird quirks that ended up adding up to more work than I had time for. To a small degree I still think of this as a bit of a work in progress, but overall it seems like it is in a stable enough state to be released. There is one thing I'd really like input on; In PoE 1 were there lines that played when a rogue or fighter used an ability? A lot of actions share lines, and despite playing a rogue for over 100+ hours, I can't remember if the character says anything when using a non-standard attack action. Otherwise the only issue I'm immediately aware of (and not able to fix) is during character creation, if there are 16 (By default there are 14 male voices and 13 female voices) or more items in the voice list it expands outside of the UI. Which really makes pressing the next button without selecting one of the Vox Machina voices a bit of a challenge. As can be seen in the above video this is only in character/adventurer creation, so existing characters aren't affected by this issue. Thank you for reading! * - Currently this mod is setup with Windows in mind. I am not at all familiar with MacOS or Linux so I have no idea if it will work for those versions of the game. If someone has an answer for that either way please let me know!

This mod removes the attribute bonuses you get from race and culture, increases the amount of spendable attribute points from 15 to 18 and increases attribute's maximum cap from 18 to 20. This allows you to freely choose the race and culture you want without having to worry about min-max'ing your attributes. There is an optional version which also unlocks all backgrounds, inspired by Nizzy's Backgrounds Unlocked mod. The idea and request belongs to u/mporubca on r/projecteternity. Installation Download the archive and extract the folder from it, Place the "RP & MinMax" folder in "InstallPath\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\override", Launch the game and confirm its state from Options > Mod Manager.
