Hi, I'm playing with Aloth. He's lvl 20. When I summon an Essential Phantom it has 34 accuracy: 25 base and +9 from level. That can't be right. Before that it had really high accuracy. I noticed the same with another character I played solo before (Geomancer): loaded up the savegame and the same problem there. I had similar problems with an Ancient whose unique shroom summons would not scale their stats correctly - don't know if that's related. Find my savegame here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tcwpf6g07ik0k5t/Hyleon%20%28f9c897b3-bd46-4c0e-9148-d236ebfea8c2%29%20%28LAX-123ABCDEFG%29%20quicksave.savegame?dl=0
As the title says, the 4th level wizard spell Essential Phantom is getting into melee range and punching enemies, dealing blunt damage to them. The spells description says that it should be dealing shock damage and from what I remember back in PoE1 it used to use a wand or something similar to stay at range. I've swapped Aloth's weapons to see if his default weapon was the reason but that didn't do anything. Hopefully it can be fixed.
Well met, Adventurers! As we mentioned in an earlier post, pricing changes are coming to our store. Why did we decide to make these changes? Several reasons: first, and most importantly, we got feedback from our players (both directly through comments and through watching what is and is not actually being bought), about what items they wanted to see at what pricing. We listened to these comments and made changes we think make sense, while still making business sense for the product. Second, as you know, we recently added new content to the game and will be adding more in the future, and this new pricing system works better with the new content. It doesn’t make any sense to charge more for a bundle, for example, than it costs to purchase the items in that bundle individually. Hopefully, you will agree that the new pricing system is much more logical and equitable. Chests are now a bit easier to get with in-game gold, and just about everything else that had been purchasable with real-world money has been made cheaper, bundled together in a single-priced package, or both. For those of you who already own some or all of the content that has undergone a price change you will not lose your content. Nothing will change, you can keep right on smashing goblins and seeking treasure cards as you did. This change only affects future purchases. The full list of price changes is below. If you have any questions or feedback for us, please talk to us on our official forums. And now to take down the Runelords!
-Essential Phantom will have the Spellbind item uses fully charged. For example, if you have a restore light glove and used 2 of the 3 uses, your Phantom will also have 3 uses when summoned. Otherwise, far as I can tell, there's nothing else usable, figurines in quick slots won't work for example. -To use the above, simply click on the phantom and the spellbind item use should appear above the character portraits toward the left side. -Weapons with spellbind on them will not work as well, only worn items. -It does get effected by group buffs, but individual ones like Eldritch Aim even cast before it has no effect. Additionally, talents Weapon Focus: Adventurer, Dangerous Implements, Heart of Storm, don't seem to effect it. -The Essential Phantom seems to have a +3 accuracy spell in effect on it, so Priest and Paladin spells (auras) will only override it. Otherwise, I was testing a Moon God-like PC and Aloth Wood elf, but the gap was 3 accuracy not 5, and dropped the paladin zealous focus to do this testing. -It seems to have a much higher accuracy and always targets reflex/shock. Additionally it has more Health and defenses. The health pool is roughly x4. I suspect it has a super modifier for health/endurance but can't do math too well. Defenses are a little wonky, I can't figure out any patterns besides it has more. -The damage of the summon is unaffected by might it seems. Aloth or my PC dealt the same with the summons in play. -It has the same damage reduction as the caster. (Kinda funny to use plate for example and have it block a doorway). -Couldn't tell if recovery time of its attacks was effected by the heavier armor though. -Racials like Moon God like do not seem to work off it.
