"daredevil" cannon playset for fast travel and a smaller version like a morter facing up. Both cannons one for long distance travel and the other simply a stronger trampoline. The fuel would be two peices of gunpowder or a special plastic fuel canister. The morter version would be found in the undershed. The "daredevil" cannon would be with the playset somewhere hard to reach what would be included... Brand items. The morter is for circumstances, such as bases and positions above your head. The cannon is to cross the map or a picnic table if you can't hadle bees.

During the encounter with the Eotans on the Island with the Sandswept ruins (SW map), I selected the options "The other eotans hid food from you" (paraprhrased, passed check successfully) and "my friends saw it!" (I think it was the third option. Failed that check). Now the mistake. The text says: "Rekke stares at you blankly. After a few long, silent moments, his eyes widen, and he slowly shakes his head." I haven't even met Rekke yet. My current party members are (in that order): Aloth, Pallegina, Mira and Tekēhu.

This began as a reply to "The Heros you will roll", I just copied and pasted everything and started this thread. The topic is "Starting Locations", but I threw in some "Speculation" (which is touching close to a "Suggestion") about the Event. The speculation, as I say "almost suggestion", is a way to allow the Player more freedom when they "roll" their characters and even narrate their own characters. I'm putting it into a quote, it starts off as a direct reply to the other thread by the way: The point of the idea is that you'd be able to start off at a location and then go from there. So if you'd start off in Beregost you'd go from there, if you'd go North towards Friendly Arms you'd meet Elminster still at the Crossroads. In the same vein that Multiplayer doesn't intrude on the Single Player campaign, having a different "Starting Location" wouldn't need to intrude on the Plot either. Thoughts? P.S. There might be some old thread covering the same subject but I don't remember quite everything we discussed and it's also an old thread.

Kind of, Quest events. Imagine doing Kivan's quest, but from being a third-party. Where he leads and you follow (and would you walk back he would continue forward). During the time you follow on his quests you would pretty much be a 7 man party, with perhaps some basic shouts a la "Watch out!", "Get over here", "Follow me for a while". You wouldn't have any mechanical control but this could be a tactical aspect in itself in combat (Controlling an out of Party companion with limited tactical management, controlling several? Lead an army? xD). Of course, the companion should have some proper AI. I'm thinking Side-Kick Heroes, basically potential Companions or traveler's, that travels the world actively doing one Quest tree. Every NPC usually has their own in-built Quest tree that they have to follow right? That you have to do anyways? If Time is going to be a resource, would you miss certain Quests, companions?
