I bought KOTOR2 a while ago and got this error when i tried to install it. This is the european version or something, bought in norway. When i bought it, they gave me 3 cds. Great! i thought and went home to play. I started the installer, got to the end of cd3, then it asked for cd4. I opened my cd case and looked for it.. no cd 4. I went back to the store the next day and asked for the fourth cd. They said they had sold lots of these games, with 3 discs, and never had a complaint about CDs missing. Weird i thought, formatted my computer, and tried again. Same error. So im in a bit of a bind here, cant play the stupid game Anyone else had this problem, and know a workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I got this problem too.. when i try to leave the hawk, i get dumped to the main menu unable to do anything in the menus :| i really hope a patch will fix this! could someone make this thread a sticky? there are alot of ppl with this problem, and if someone finds a workaround to the problem, they could look it up in the sticky-post-section or whatever its called

I got the same problem. It happens when i try to exit the ebon hawk when im at dantooine for the second time

i got 2 saves right now. this one, and another i did 5 mins before. i tried loading the other one and exit the ebon hawk again, but i got the same error :I would be weird if 2 diffrent savegames are currupt wouldnt it?

Im on dantooine to meet the other jedis as a LSer. I try to exit the ebon hawk, get the character selection screen, pick 2 chars, click ok, the game starts loading, then dumps me out to the main menu screen.

I got windowed mode working now. What i did was i added "AllowWindowedMode=1" to both [Display Options] and [Graphics Options] . And then i made a new shortcut to swkotor2.exe (the game executable, not the launcher) with the flag "-w" after it. Hope this helps some of the ppl who are trying to get windowed mode out a bit.

Hi there! There may be a spoiler up ahead, so if you havent played the game very far, dont read on. After i have been on Onderon, helped the queen, and gone back to the ebon hawk, kreia starts whining about going to dantooine. I go to dantooine, have a chat with the peeps on ebon hawk then decide to head out. I get the usual character selection screen, i choose 2 guys, and click ok, sit down and wait for the loadscreen. Instead of the loadscreen, it dumps me to the game main menu. I've tried getting windowed mode to work to see if this helps, but i cant get windowed mode working. Anyone else with the "dumping to main menu" problem here? Anyone got a work around? Any help at all would be much appreciated.
