Okay I think in my true beliefs (just didn't want to say it, in case I put a curse on the whole thing :ph34r: ) I'll be playing the game on wednesday, how's that sound?

This is probably the most stupid poll ever. SERIOUSLY, you're guessing how many patches they'll make for the game!!!! ..... uh, the game isn't even released and your already more interested if it's flaws are fixed? geez.
You even care if you get the game???? I mean, (not trying to be hostile here, please don't lash out on me) you PC guys seem to be more interested in getting to whine about the bugs, then actually playing the game!!!
Then again, PC as a platform is not as reliable, since the hardware is different for every machine, so I guess that explains something. But could you start doing this once you encounter these problems while actually playing the game??? This bug fix issue seems so stupid right now.

This is how i think it works.
It is releast on the 8th in the US, this is when they ship it to europe and the rest of the world. Those contries will get it on the 9th at the earliest. Amazon sends them out when they get them (9th), so i get my copy on the 10/11th of feb. :D
OR they do have made enough copies and those already are on their way, just to make sure it's there by the release. This is what I wan't to believe atleast. K1 arrived 2 days early and I got it 1 day before release (that little maneuver made me a happy customer and have bought all my games from that same shop since then), so I'm feeling pretty confident I'll be playing K2 by the end of next week.

It's just the fact that PC:s improve technically faster then consoles.
I think it's good that we have multiplatform games, although I'm strongly behind the idea that it should first be done for one and then remade for others. This should not cause any problems with how good the remakes would be, if done properly.
And about the FPS controller issue: I think xbox pad is great for an FPS, it's shaped just perfectly for my hands (the big one, not the crappy japanese version that most people prefer for some odd reason) and so my hands don't get tired even in long sessions, like they would with keyboard and mouse.
PLUS, i bet I could kick your ass in Halo with an xbox controller, with you piloting a PC :D . The controls really get linked to your nerve system after a while, enhancing the reaction time. ( you need to get used to the controller)

Those issues aren't my concern since I've got an xbox. Still I understand why you'd like those bugs fixed. Xbox had no graphics bugs, and slowed down only a couple of times in K1. A reason for which I like xbox: don't have to worry about technical issues.
Still, I'm tired of this war about which is better PC or Xbox. I'm just happy it's not made for PS2. Oh- we would have some problems then wouldn't we?

I just picked up a fresh mag from a store, that had K2 rewiewed, they only gave it 82/100
and since this has so far been my most trustable mag when rewiews have been concerned (I agree, usually), I got a bit sad. But hey, I think I'll rather trust the guys who are like me: fans. I mean if they say if you liked K1 you'll like K2, I think it will be so... ...and 82 ain't that bad considering K2 is built on old engine and so on....
I guess the fact that it's just more of the same cut some of the points. (more of the same? -yes, please)

Yep, cool indeed. Although I myself have not preordered the game, since I trust more that the shops will have it on time. Not after, like sometimes it takes the game to be delivered a while if preordered. I only have a reservation and a reliable informative shopkeeper.

I already talked to my usual shopkeeper and when I asked "so you'll start selling it in 11 feb?" he replied: "oh, let's see when it's on stock first"
Now this is goood, I got the 1st KOTOR a day early from him and I'm thinking, maybe, just maybe, if they get it before 11 I could get it earlier.
Of course my lips are sealed which store this might be , so fellow finns don't ask.
Well, even if you did tell us, i would think you two are mates, so the shop person wouldn't do it for anyone else.....because he could get into serious trouble if he got caught.

retailer couldn't really cause that much noise. I mean we DO live here, middle of north pole between Sweden and Russia.
