I think he is right. They wanted a reason for making Kotor III. It kinda like episode V when chewbacca and Lando flew off in the Falcon to look for Han. It just screams sequel.

Kotor was a great game. The story was perfect, especially the twist near the end. The gameplay revolutionalized what a RPG can do. Also, you can chose your path. Kotor II, in my opinion, blew Kotor out of the water. The planets seemed more fun. The extra lightsaber colors were great. The story felt more epic like the movies. I agree. Like with Halo2,which I though was great, people were disappointed. KotorII is a great game that is far better than the first. The stroyline felt more epic, move like a movie or book then a game. Of all the great changes KotorII has, that was my favorite part.

Yeah, you can tell they rushed it little at the end, but considering time of production to release date these guys at Obsidian put in a lot of work into the game in a short time. I agree. I would not want to play as Revan or "the Exile" again;althrough, I would like to expand on both "the exile" and Revan's story. Maybe start KOTORIII with the main storyline being about Revan vs. the true Sith. you start as a mysterious ALIEN, force sensitive follower of Revan. That way Revan is trying to defeat the true Sith is by creating a rebellion inside the Sith Empire. He could train force sensitive rebels to become Jedi/sith. That would also explain how the Jedi Order is eventually reestablished.
