You do get revan's robes in K1, in the starforge if you're DS. You just don't get the mask. I think that Revan's robes in K1 are far better looking than the robes in K2, they should have based the DS robes more on that kind of design.

The strat guide is bogus. Those Arca Jeth, Aleema Keto robes etc, don't actually exist. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not so fast. Of all the robes you listed, good job by the way, none of them are green like the ones in the screens on the official website. I believe they do exist. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Matukai robes are green. Or one of them is. Put them on a male character and you'll see. I seem to get them every time, always use them, they're always green.

That's not quite true, you can make a couple of basic weapons, which are upgradable. I personally like the random generator, but perhaps it doesn't bother me because I don't care whether I get a specific robe, armor or weapon. In fact, that's why I also like the workbench, as it allows me to mould an upgradable weapon or armor to my own specs, rather than having to rely on buying or finding a specific item. Therein, I think, is the logical relationship between the random loot generator and the workbench. I do however think that, in the interests of appeasing as many people as possible, there should have been a few more set item drops earlier in the game. Dark-side characters are screwed if the random generator doesn't favor them early in the game, whereas regular Jedi robes are a lot easier to come by (ironically, they're even easier to come by as a DS character as you're guarenteed to find them on certain characters).

Is KOTOR 2 Killing my Hard Drive?
HK-74 replied to xtrazx75's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The save files are about 1600 blocks each, I think. I managed to get somewhere in the region of 200 K2 saves before my HD was full though. -
That would be an incredibly valid point, had the initial post been aimed at you. Or had it mentioned you. Or had it been a reply to you. Funnily enough, it was none of the above. I was merely offering up some information and speculation based on my own experiences with the game. It's a similar to your process of spamming the board with your whining, but slightly more constructive. What in the blue hell are you babbling about? That is the most baffling display of "logic" that I've witnessed this week. Let me make sure I understand you, you're saying that if I happen to share someone else's opinion on any given subject then I must be claiming that their opinion is "true"? Are you subnormal? Opinions aren't true or false, they're purely subjective - that's why they are called opinions, not facts. See how that works?

Obsidian doesn't care about its customers
HK-74 replied to jarlaxlecq's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
besides the link hades gave you, id suggest you read all threads with a "O" beside it. those have developer comments in them. now while they havent exactly fixed all the things people are complaining about, all you asked was proof of ANYTHING that they were commenting on <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We'll i've read his post and dont see anything refering to to the varity of issues in the game. Aside from the random freezes on my xbox. I just started a LS character only to find out that that most of the self buffing skills are broken and do nothing. Its unaccepatable. The game is being returned tomorrow. Forget Obsidian, there are too many great games out there to be wasting my time on a half ass-ed rushed release. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "waa waa, Obsidian aren't supportive enough, waa *snot bubble* waa, my needs aren't being met" Do you want the entire Obsidian dev team to come over to your house and hold your hand while you play the game? And how the the hell can you feel betrayed, did you think that your $50 purchase was a contract for a lifetime of servitude on behalf of Obsidian? But you're right, they've just cashed the checks and moved on... to finishing the PC version of the game. Grow up, or at least take your foot-stamping and hissy fits to the kindergarten forum. ...and, "self buffing skills"? What the.... All Jedi have immense self-buffing skills, it helps them cope with the ban on nookie. -
Questions about my character
HK-74 replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
1) You are shunned because they think that the Sith will track you to Dantooine and kill them. Vrook says so. They don't really suck your powers away, as you will see in answer 2. 2) They don't strip you of the force, Kreia stops them. You did have your eyes open during the cutscene, right? 3) How did you manage to play the whole game and stil be confused on this issue? You, the exile, use the force by leeching it from others. You channel the force through your companions and through absorbing the life-force of those whom you kill. You are not directly in contact with the force, having cut yourself off from it to survive Malachor 5. You are not an actual Jedi because you were exiled, twice. However with all members of the Jedi Council now dead, the point is somewhat moot. -
Question about the Mandalorians...
HK-74 replied to GirlGamersUnite's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
i believe the guy who played jango (and who they base the accents in the games off of) is from new zealand, not australia. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, that would explain why the clones can't shoot straight at least. And you're right, he's from new zealand. But everyone knows that new zealanders stole their accents from austrailians just to sound cooler. How many new zealanders are there anyway, twelve? And how many mandalorians are there? Lots. See, your theory just doesn't hold water under closer scrutiny. Or something. Besides, Boba Fett in ESB was english, so we can't take that into account. The same guy also plays an alderaan pilot in Ep III, so mandalorians must be austrailian. See? -
Ha! Guy Pierce vs. Gary Oldman. I'd greenlight that movie right fecking now.

Question about the Mandalorians...
HK-74 replied to GirlGamersUnite's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You be da crazy foo'. I think that Kreia's prophesy is actually a pretty accurate description, and nudge in the ribs, of AOTC. Something about a shell of a man killed all to easily by a Jedi? Sounds like Jango to me. I'd hate to think that we're expected to accept Clone/Stormtroopers as full-fledged Mandalorians, by extension it would mean that Mandalorians are bumbling fools who can't shoot straight. In truth we all know that Mandalorians are drunk most of the time, what with all of them being Austrailian. Isn't that a bizarre coincidence? All Mandalorians being Austrailian, I mean. You never see a French Mandalorian. -
When did the Jedi become pacifists?
HK-74 replied to deganawida's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That's why those sectional multi-topping pizzas were invented. There's always one Sect which insists on baloney and pineapple, and there is no truer indication of the corrupting influence of the dark side. -
"Lucas said this, Lucas said that..." What does George Lucas know? It all happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

TALLER?! Are you crazed, Vin Diesel's a midget! I don't know where they find all these other midget actors to make him look taller in his films.

It's quite a bit darker than orange on my tv. Yellow Green Blue Red Orange Cyan Violet Viridian Bronze Silver I think that's the lot. I'm probably missing an incredibly obvious one though.

Force Power Cost Adjustment Question
HK-74 replied to TraceMercuryX's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Let me make sure I understand this; you have full lightside alignment but your reductions have been reduced, meaning that lightside powers are costing you more force points? Or they're costing you less? It should be the latter. And your universal powers have gained cost. IF both lightside and universal powers are costing more than it did in the previous game I would assume that it's a) a bug or b) because you've chosen to be a Weaponmaster this time and chose something else last time. Most likely option b. If they're just costing more than they did before you picked your prestige class in the same game then I'd assume it's because you switched from Consular to Weaponmaster. Waeponmasters, and Guardians, seem to spend more force points per power, it's this which makes the conceit of differing force affinity between classes work, i.e. masters and consulars have a higher affinity and so they use less force points per power, guardians and such have a lower affinity and so they use more force points per power.
