  1. Ho, thank you for the Graphic slider tip. Well, Antialiasing is not in Supersampling. Now I have the 2.02 update, still blurry graphics.
  2. Well. I have reinstalled again, this time I deleted the PoE Steam folder. It seems the autosave replication and the start problem has been corrected, but still, no improve in the graphics.
  3. No, no, it is not about the brightness or so. It is about the detail level. Yeah, they were not taken at same daytime, but, in fact, the Before one is brighter, so it should be show more detail. It is easy to see the detail level in the trees and so. You can compare them with your own game too, so you can see how blurry it is. About the dates, don't know where did you take the data, but in fact, the Before one was uploaded to Steam in April 19 and the After in Sept 15. Maybe you mixed them or something. Another way to tested could be moving your graphics setting to Lowest. I can't test that one because that bar does nothing for me, (which is the issue), but I bet you will end with a blurry map
  4. Through steam. No, I did not delete folders or modified my reg, so my options and saves were there.
  5. Mmmm, I did verify my cache twice. I even, as I said, Uninstalled and reinstalled everything with no change at all. I have a 7959 HD Radeon vcard with latest drivers (15.7.1). The issue is: In the first image, you can see the texture of the trees, the grass, the roots of the bridges and so. In the second one, these look blurry. The best way to note it is ctrl+tab or alt+tab so you can see the change in the textures. I noted first in the trees, but grass seems like a green color applied instead a texture. In normal gameplay, I noted first because of he circles under the character. (they seem dotted when stalking instead smother.)
  6. Update: I ttrid changing some stuff, in the regedit. Nothing happend, but in fact, i did not know what I was doing. If someone knows what values to change, it will be great. Please, help me.
  7. It seems the uploading process has shrieked my image, so it is not that easy to spot the quality. I will try with links: Before http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/419188589628748752/DC0BC6AF4A6181E1D9E0349C868963B0E72FB9E7/ After http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/419188589628747343/A25EE71A81F5C7B8FB2DBD664B42D4E94E756017/ As you can see, the second image is blurry, low quality. I have other problems, but as the forums rules say I must post them in separate topics, I will. Just for the record (in case they are related), they are: The autosaves does not override as usual, so I have 1 file more every time an autosave happens. (4 autosaves right now). Game crashes in launch the first time. I must try a couple times to make the game run. As I said before, reinstalling does not work.
  8. Thank you. I'm checking it and it seems my resolution is fine. Quality has value = 2 which I think is High. I still don't know what to do but it's something. Hope someone of Obsidian answer me...
  9. I'm really disappointed. I thought this was a Technical support forum and I have not an answer or at least a replay from the support. Anyway, i'll add this issue is happening in every save (pre and post patch), I have the White March DLC and I have uninstalled-installed the whole game without a change.
  10. I came to say "character with 0 mechanics and low perception finding secrets". Well, this solves the mystery. Now, lets wait to the fix.
  11. At least someway to change the graphics option form an ini file or something...
  12. After the 2.01 patch, he game has the lowest graphics setting. Change it in Options/graphics does nothing at all. The Map option shows how bad resolution is it now. Please Help! DxDiag.txt
  13. I like buf fixing and balance patches, but somehow I feel they are listening the community in reddit instead their forum. And you dont know who the hell is in Reddit.
  14. I dont get why people would stealth everywhere. I don't care about find a "Fine sword" around end of the game. I stealth in a new area just because if I dont, enemies will see me when I see them and we will start a battle before I can throw spells at them or, even better, to be melee I can hit them really hard before their spells. It works and it is cool. Options are good, you are using it to find "small Shield", I'm using it to kill the enemies.
  15. It might have worked if it had some drawback, say if the npcs were not happy with you sneaking around their houses, and guards were suspicious of you sneaking along the street full of people. "Maybe he is out to rob someone, better take him for questioning". But as it is there is no reason why you wouldn't want to search for secrets 24/7. So the only "effort" you gotta make is to press "sneak" key and "double speed" key while ignoring the fact that it looks silly and is immersion breaking. The need for having sufficient mechanics to find the secret would still be there. The DRAWBACK is the time spent in that and you are complaining about it!!..... wow, these guys.. that's exactly why you should not search 24/7 and that's exactly the point you are not seeing.
  16. Totally agree with this. Good list. Add the Catform of the druid, not information about how long is it or how fast are the attacks (damage can be seen in combat, it should be seen in teh tooltip).
  17. I love the game, really. I just ended my first gameplay after 190 hours. But I'm surprised why nobody ask how damage is dealt by their weapons. Even more surprised how the players defend the lack of feedback in the U.I. We have a lot of information but it means really nothing. That's a big step back from Baldur's Gate. Yeah, the graphic is outdated, and I had to make a post in the forum to have it and still need to check it (if I find one updated graph) and do more maths every time. Why??? and why does the community defend this absurd position?? is the people that dumb to does not realize every number in the game is useless without an attack speed value? I think it is the last one, so I'm trying to inform the players this is happening. The sad part is, even with a post like this, people is not smart enough to understand. =( Another question: Why did the beta backers never say anything about it? Edit: A lot of English mistakes. I'm not a native, so forgive me.
  18. I think what that means is that the weapon speed have the same scale for 2 handed or 1 handed but 2 handed usually are slow or very slow. A 2 handed with "fast" (I have not found any) would be as fast as a dagger. That's fine because you can make your maths easier and the balance is in the weapon speed.
  19. Well, I said I searched in the manual and in-game, but thank you for the graph. Anyway, like Ineth said, it is not a math quiz, so it would be really nice we can see the speed for each slot weapon just like the damage, so we can really be strategic in the battles.
  20. Exactly, that's why they should show the speed. They show us the calculated damage, they show us the calculated endurance, they show us the calculated AoE of spells... If you must take decisions based in your guts, they could just remove all of this information too.
  21. No. Can you at least answer my points before say no?
  22. Finally, I ended reporting this as an error. The damage numbers for the weapons mean nothing. Why? because you dont know they frequency of the attack. In example, you have a "fast" weapon with 10-15 damage and a slow weapon with 20-30 damage. Which one is better? Due I dont have any clue, I just stick with fast or very fast weapons, assuming: Normal: 100% speed, fast: 400%, very fast: 800%. slow: 25%, very slow: 12.5%. So the damage dealt by my weapons would be (10-15) x 4 x T (T is time), and (20-30)x0.25 x T. Yeah, I realize that would make every slow and very slow weapon useless, but those numbers are as good as any, because we dont have idea of how fast is a fast or how slow is slow. The final speed number is modified by armor, dex and weapon (or spell), so in the end, we have no idea how fast we are. This could be simply fixed with a Speed number placed just like the damage numbers (one for each weapon slot). In this way, damage values for weapons would mean something. Why is this an error? because the whole game lose sense without this. 1. Spells have their damage per second very specified and you cant compare them vs your weapons. 2. You cant know if a weapon is better than other with different speed (like in my example), losing every meaning for loot, and sense of progress. 3. Damage values in weapons are useless without the frequency of the attacks. In fact, every combat value is useless, by example you cant know if 400 endurance is a lot or not. (It would be a lot if the damage listed in the weapon is made every 20 seconds, it could be small if your damage is dealt every 0.1 second). Your spells can suck if they are under your weapon damage per second, or can be great if they double the weapons. I have searched in the in-game cyclopedia, the manual and the official wiki of the game and I find nothing about this, but even with the right percentages for "Fast" or "slow", we should make a lot of maths to know the final values of speed. If it is calculated for every character and any moment, we could have it in the character information and that will help us to take REAL STRATEGIC decisions. By now, we just have sticks of different colors to attack our enemies.
  23. I'm not obsessed with numbers, it is just a thing of common sense. We don't have damage values for the weapons and every one is ok with that?? Why spells list the damage and weapons don't (aka the damage numbers you see means nothing)? the whole "number thing" is just normal in almost every other aspect of the game and normal for every game. They even tell you the duration of spells, but they dont tell you what your weapon does. By the way, I play the game in expert mode, so I don't have those cooldown bars or so, and what you say about armor and dex modifying speed just makes everything worse. Why they bother showing your health? your endurance? your defenses? Because that's the whole point of the stats and leveling. They could just show us the calculated speed with the chosen weapon slot, in the same way they show the damage (which is doing nothing right now). You guys are telling me numbers are not important, but the game has numbers everywhere (spell damage, spell duration, defenses, damage reduction, health, endurance, stats, talents) for a reason, just speed was removed from the feedback. What I think is people simply dont realize they dont even know how damage is dealt by their weapons, because I don't think they would like spells just saying "this deal some damage". The weapon problem es "concealed".
  24. I got that something like "Fast" in the weapon description sounds better than a number like "0.6 seconds per attack". But to hide the speed of a weapon is too much. I don't care too much about the maths if I can see my final speed. I.E. games were pretty specific and you always new your stats. You never found a weapon with "secret" damage. You new the damage done every round. Every other RPG in the world tell you what damage your weapons deal, but in PE the damages numbers are completely useless. What is the use of the damage numbers if you have no idea when will it be done?. Lets say you find the the weapons of my example "A Fast weapon with 10-15 damage" and then the other one "a slow weapon with 20-30 damage". Should you change it? Are you upgrading your character or not? Actually, what you have is a weapon with "I deal some damage sometimes" and another with "I deal some damage sometimes". The whole porpoise of looting or changing weapons is missed. Are you telling me they could use just "This armor protects you", in each armor and you will be ok with it?. Why do you accept this on your weapons then?
  25. Wow, actually I could say something about the topic, but seeing how much you hate the whole game, I will not care anymore. Paladins suck, Rangers suck, Durance suck, Health system suck, reviving suck... just... wow. Why do you even bother playing? go, return to Skyrim, everything is easy there.
