Hold on, did you just call me a geek? This can only be settled one way. Oilers versus Sharks, boi!! Again, we have totally different opinions on the two movies. It's possible high school was so long ago that I couldn't really relate to any of the characters. And I found McLovin pretty annoying after about thirty minutes. He was the kind of geek in school we used to pick on. And not that I kept a laugh count going or anything, but I remember seeing both movies in the theatre, and I honestly laughed most of the way through Knocked Up, while Superbad had me yawning in more than a few spots.

See, I'm on the opposite side of the fence there, Hurly. I thought Knocked Up was much funnier than Superbad.

I just finished watching Superbad. I still think it's a little too long.

Alfredsson isn't totally alone. The big three are all firing, but they are getting nothing from the rest of the line up. I had a long winded post about how the salaries of the top line for Ottawa prohibts them from have a better bottom six, or nine lateley I guess for the Sens, of forwards. But apparantley their terrific trio doesn't even make 15 combined this season. It's next season that Heatleys' and Speezzzaaaaas' raises kick in. Can someone here remember this post at some point in the 08/09 season? They should go after Mark Recchi. The Pens put him on waivers today. And speaking of the Pens, I really hope that they lose to the Oilers tonight. And I really hope Zach Stortini is benched, because I don't want to see him hug Georges Laraques, at all. Plus Wade Belak scored!! It must be his leap year reflexes!

Personally I hope we never have to hear the words 'Adam' and 'Kensai' again. For a supposedly immortal badass, he didn't really do much.

I don't think he'll die down there, but he sure will lose a lot of weight. Come to think of it, he could rip out one of his bones and start-a-scraping! It might take a decade or four to get out, but what else does he have to do down there?

I'm with you on that one, Pixies. I was kind of hoping that Sylar wouldn't get all of his powers back, just his original one. Looks like the finale for chapter three will be he and Petey duking it out for round three ( or is it four now?).

Wow, looking at the conference standings Edmonton is a mere two points out of 8th spot in the west. Even if the team crashes and burns for the rest of the season, we can say we were close at one point!

But did you tell your mom its for the good of the show?

I hope Tim Kring is really taking advantage of this strike and making some well thought out plotlines for chapter three. A lot of this second season was, as Piddy pointed out, really uneven. Hopefully he'll quit dumbing down a lot of the characters as well.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Oilers game tonight. I'm thinking it's going to be one of those 5-4 games. Oh, and with last nights' win we moved out of the basement of the Northwest division. You suck worse than we do, Calgary! Flame on!!

Yes, Brian Burke may claim a top five pick courtesy of the Oilers in the draft this year, plus a second and third rounder as well, but the Oilers won the season series. So roll that up in a bowl and smoke it, Anaheim!!
