Don't forget tonights game starts in about an hour on Sportsnet, Alan. And Hurlshot I couldn't agree with you more. I like the Kings, they have a solid if unspectacular team, a decent fanbase and very interesting telecasts. Unfortunately they have also been hit with the unlucky stick. If you want to talk about injuries, the Kings have a habit of falling out of the race in the new year. But it would be better if it was Colorado on the outs instead of them. Here's hoping the Sharks tear the Flames a new **** tonight.

I've been watching Million Dollar Baby again. To save myself some misery, I stopped after she . I'd love to buy this on DVD, but that might conflict with the compulsion to watch it every time its on the movie channels. As for the BBCF: I read the UK had to wait fifteen years to get an unedited version of Evil Dead. My guess would be the tree rape scene was cut. And I see Bad Lieutenant was banned in Ireland. Then again that's one movie that seems to be screaming to be censored. Do we really need to see a full frontal scene featuring Harvey Keitel and himself? Probably not...

My question was pretty vague. I was generalizing a bit, I suppose. Perhaps this discussion should continue in the movie thread so as not to derail. What's the rating on Firefly in the U.K. anyway? I notice my copy across the pond doesn't even have one :ph34r:

Edmontons' second line center Jarret Stoll scored the game winner last night, but the more impressive stat is he went 21 for 22 in the faceoff circle. Holy Adam Oates' ghost Batman!!!! And I am going to try to enjoy as much hockey as I can this week, since the prelims start for the Olympics on next Tuesday. I don't find international games that exciting, but I'll admit I'm a little curious to see how Evengi Malkin does for the Russian team.

I caught the last hour of Grizzly Man on cable last night. I definately want to catch the whole thing. What was that old Dan Akroyd line from SNL? Never feed a bear by putting a marshmallow in your mouth. Or something like that. There was a round table thing afterwords with his friends , although I don't know if it was in the DVD. I felt pretty bad because all his buddies were complaining about people wanting to hear the tape that captured his death. 'Morbid Curiosity' was their exact words.

I wish I could forget this game, my friends and I had a road trip all planned with licqour and funness, but we couldn't get any seats other than standing room only. And KQD doesn't stand for anything, let alone hockey. edit. here you go, Hurlshot

At least your team gets to play an early game tonight.
