  1. If you get stuck try this. Yup, very likely. Had this happen to me, the autopause triggers before game finishes loading all the text, models and art. It's likely the boar companions dying over and over when you revisit the town. All you see is a black screen and a cursor, so you think you're stuck

  3. So far for me it's only happened on quick load and I didn't lose any items my characters started with only items that I had looted from enemies.
  4. Google is your friend kronyth. http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Damage_Type http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Item#Steel 1. There are 3 weapon type damages which are the usual Slash, Pierce and Crush. And four elemental Fire Ice Electricity and Acid damage. 2. If they have different types of arrows eg. bodkin and broadhead arrows you could have different (bodkins were supposedly armour piercing so they'd probably do piercing and maybe skip some of the armour) and broadheads might cause bleeding effects we don't know. Cloth armour or leather armour would probably be lowest against piercing. 3. Not a clue how crafting will work but you have a stronghold so you might be able to hire a blacksmith and be able to make the different types of steel and if you want to be "evil" you could hire the blacksmith who works in Skein Steel. 4.Not sure what the raw damage is but it might be like having a ghostly weapon that ignores armour and cuts the soul only thing I can think of but supposedly it's rare and does small amounts of damage. This is all conjecture so feel free to get quotes and prove me wrong.
  5. Old men can neither run far nor fast. My rogue will find him or maybe there are tracking spells like a cipher can get the "scent" of his soul or a wizard use some sympathetic magic that will allow a hair or piece of blood to direct me to him or if sympathetic magic does indeed exist i could use the blood to burn him up from the inside and follow the rumors of the mysterious death to his corpse. Or I could just rely on the superstitious old man believing that my wizard can do that.
  6. Unless they specifically say in game the bottomless stash is magic or describe it I'm going to assume it's a wagon that is being driven by some poor old man who I hired.
  7. First off most of the things you were arguing about at the start mainly if you build your character carefully you can solo which you can in most of the IE games sometimes this was skill sometimes it was cheesy tactics. But as has been mentioned in this game you can go to a Adventurer's Hall and build your own companions to help you so if you had a choice between 1 fighter or 2 fighters and they are the exact same build exact same level (substitute fighter with mage thief whatever) and you're fighting a monster which of those two groups are more likely to win? One of the reasons why you might do better with a smaller group is because your group is better equipped and that can help or it is easier to manage smaller groups. But when there is a fight between 4 heroes or 6 heroes against one hero and the levels are equal and the people building the heroes didn't mess up the larger group. The larger group will win almost always assuming they haven't missed all the items that the soloer has picked up because they need them. The one man will probably be better equipped individually but not necessarily you could put all your best gear on the one and outfit the others with everything else. But assuming this is at the end game they'll both be the same level and the larger group will have more options maybe they made 2 fighters to engage the one fighter and a rogue and a priest and a chanter and a ranger or just 6 fighters who can swamp you from all sides and swing until you're dead. And you keep saying the character will be a higher level and at the start that will help quite a bit but if they want to make the end fight difficult for people who did all the side quests and managed to hit the level cap with a group of six and built their group competently it will either be really easy for the group of 6 or nearly impossible for the 1 man. You keep mentioning build it properly and you can win and it sounds like you are making the assumption that everyone else won't build it properly. Or that tactics you use will be better than the tactics everyone else can use. Unless there is a secret that only solo or low number groups can use the fight will be easier for the larger group. They will have more per encounter and per rest abilities to use. And there is no way you can build a character that it will be stronger than a group of 6 other characters unless someone badly messed up in the creation or the developers missed something during the development of abilities and allowed something overpowered through. Also how did it get changed from can we solo and how hard should it be hard-nearly impossible to is kiting a legitimate tactic? Not sure if it is a legitimate tactic but it is one I find boring.
