I didn't manage to get to the second level. How did you manage that? grappling hook and rope?

I've all had this on multiple screens and text.

Thanks for a great post. Though with point 4 i did find save / reload did work at least one of the times one of my characters was stuck. The disappearing items and quests i had no idea why that was happening before this.

I also had precisely the same problem. But i killed PoE as i was 'stuck'. But i didn't click on the 'primary colour' box.
