  1. yeap :D
  2. Maybe oil thrower would be a better definition???
  3. Forgive if I got the wrong impression, but isn't your character supposed to do just this in the game?? Aren't you a Jedi/Sith legend in the making??
  4. As Yoda pointed out to Luke, only a fully trainned Jedi could take on Vader. (although Vader had killed many fully trainned Jedi knights, ironic isn't it? )
  5. Does it really matter what they would wear? Let them first to make an appearance and then we dedide what they wear.
  6. What does true power means?
  7. If you weren't a Jedi class then Malak could eaily defeat you with a force power like grip.
  8. Obviously you have never player with just using blasters in Kotor. I did it 3 times and it was really actually quite good. I Was able to dish out 50+ damage each turn wth Cassus Fetts pistol in one hand and the mandalorian heavy pistol in the other... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But still you had a Jedi class.
  9. So true. Force powers are really good against the weak minded and the non Force users, not against Jedi/Sith. So being able to disarm your oppontment makes sense.
  10. Thats true, we don't know what non-Force users can really do in Star Wars. Although if would be lame if someone like Han Solo defeated Sidious, don't you think?
  11. Yeap, only Obi Wan was lukcy and escaped a duel with Dooku with mere injuries.
  12. Ever thought the fact that it is a game and not a movie or book?? So the primary focus is play enjoyment, almost nobody wants to be a weak Jedi. Furthermore to do what is required of you you have to be more or less a godlike Jedi.
  13. WHo says a non-Jedi couldn't. This isn't a representation of the movies here but based on the d20 System PnP game. I played a nice HK-47 type droid named Halberd, though built more for fighter piloting than face to face combat, and during the course of the game (we were going through the Star Wars timeline with our characters instead of the mains) and I killed Darth Vader in the Death Star run while another PC did the bomb drop. In the RPG non-Jedi can take out force users, especially on a critical hit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Somehow I doubt it that you wound be alive to face 3 Sith Lords (which requires that you have slaughtered already an army of Sith and Dark Jedi) let alove kill/destroy/turn them.
  14. Well, you have to be a god like Jedi, at least if you intent on stoping 3 or more Sith Lords.
  15. Well the light and dark side then wouldn't have a real affect to the story, nor would you be able to bring down the Sith Lords.
  16. I was thinking it might be, but I didn't know for sure either way. Did you hear that anywhere specific? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think one of the developers states so in an interview ( I am quite sure he does) I just don't remember in whiich one.
  17. I don't think that lightsaber are overpowered. But it seems that blasters and the other types of guns were too weak.
  18. That would depend on your mastery of the Force.
  19. Well you have some Sith to fight who also happen to have lightsabers and you would look kinda stupid if a guy with a blaster came around and blasted you to pieces. it is Star Wars after all.
  20. Please don't start a stupid fight about that again on another topic... We already have the "Death topic" for that. It's pointless to continue, you have to see that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I totaly agree. Hades don't start again....
  21. Well my point is if it so hard for people to learn the force how can they possible affectively program a robot to use it, and further the force is a lifeforce like element it changes it would be to complex to instruct a robot to use. However i dont see any problem as to why robots shouldnt be able to wield lightsaber when non jedi could in the movies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well it's obvious not to compex to program them because it was possible in jk2 but then however jk2 is aprox 15000years (if im correct) after kotor so it woulnd be strange if its in kotor too difficult for them :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe you are wrong. JK series takes place a few years after the OT which was aout 4000 years after the events in KOTOR 1 & 2. As for Force sensitive droids, I believe that it doesn't make sense. Since the Force connects all the living (and maybe dead) so it would seems rather stupid to be able to create Force able droids. What job would be left then for the Jedi the Sith and the other Force sensitives??
  22. Nope. You're not the first to mention this either.
  23. Would you like if you had the opportunity in the game to use a special feature and use the Force/lightsaber to disarm/destroy someones weapon without actually killing them. Wouldn't is add to the game if you could cut through blasters in order to disable them? Or use a force disarm. I personaly think that it would give a much more Star Wars feel to the game.
  24. Well it isn't a common RPG it is a Star Wars based RPG, either way I don't really mind as long as the lightsabers remain the most powerful weapon by a big margin.
