  1. Steven Universe, short update:
  2. Record of Lodoss War is something I have in my anime VHS tapes stash, along with the Director's Cut of M.D. Geist, which is an 80ies B-movie shlock "so bad it's good" anime film, but I've been told that there are people who find this one great in an "unironic" way and my recordings of the Sailor Moon R, S and SuperS films when they aired on TV here, and a bunch of other things... and one thing I'm really not going to talk about (and just in case KP starts to speculate, no, it's not Urotsukidōji: Legend of the Overfiend, and if you don't know what that is, don't google it... really, just... don't). *cough*
  3. Usagi just might be at her strongest in Sailor Stars. She's still funny and occassionally immature, but never really annoying (well maybe once or twice, heh) like she was in SuperS. Spoilers, but an example: Best not to think of SuperS.
  4. Suffered the use support version of a belated April Fool's joke. 895 and 958 are not the same numbers, even if they look a bit similar. Good thing the user didn't ask for anything serious and nobody deleted the wrong record and stuff. *cough* Sigh.
  5. You could add Puella Magi Madoka Magica to the list. It's only a handful of espisodes, and I liked it.
  6. I'll... try to be brief! There's another long ass post (and second one, yep) about this season in this thread anyway. You might want to check it out now that's you've seen the full show. The more I think about the ending, the more I like it in spite of all its flaws. It's great in what it was trying to show, but the contrivances to get everyone there (especially concerning the Outer Senshi) bring it down.
  7. Steven Universe, about flashbacks:
  8. SU Shirt Club / Loveletters / Reformed edit: Sworn to the Sword
  9. You're not supposed to know this yet, but it's like one episode off:
  10. I'm super, super curious what you'll think of the season as a whole. Have I said that already? xD
  11. I know where mine is, but it's telling that the best song on it was an ABBA cover. edit: Not saying I don't like Therion, 's just that their earlier stuff is better than Secret of the Runes. Or anything else that came after it. I've tried to like Lemuria and Sirius-B for instance, but... I don't think it's going to happen. Oh, and I'm not knocking 80ies metal covers, they're awesome.
  12. Maybe it really is, but having never seen Cops I wondered what the hell was going on the entire time when I first saw it. Which, admittedly, has been a while.
  13. 191: This is a really weird one. Especially... 192: I thought was really great because... 193: Well... not much to say about this one, but the next one is going to be both completely hilarious and heartbreaking.
  14. Yeah, everything was hyperexaggerated. The crossover part was completely lost on me of course. X-Files had a couple of crossover episodes too, one named X-COPS (although that might have been more of a homage than a crossover) and another one with a character called Munch that appeared on Law and Order and a bunch of other police procedurals that I don't watch. The spin-offs The Lone Gunmen and Millennium get a crossover episode to finish their story arcs as both were cancelled. Except for the Millennium one I got none of those. The only good crossover episodes I've seen so far are from Stargate, and those are "crossovers" from the same universe that are just set at different locations (but the shows ran concurrently), so that doesn't really count, huh? *shrug*
  15. Steven Universe - Say Uncle Steven Universe - Story for Steven
  16. A...bout? Chibi.
  17. Everything wrong with metal condensed into one epic experience: Biggest vocal disconnect from the images on screen ever. Impressive falsetto... I think, for a moment I thought he was just dubbed by a woman. Much to my surprise also not a cover of an 80ies pop song. Heh. edit: Yep. I'm loving this.
  18. Near as I can tell I started watching on November 13th, 2020. I can't say exactly when because I watched a bunch before posting about it, but I was done with Sailor Moon Crystal by March 6th, so that gives me 114 days for 200 episodes of Sailor Moon, 39 episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal and so far 1 episode of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. Not counting any JoJo's, Cardcaptor Sakura or Puella Magi Madoka Magica episodes that's 2.1 episode per day. Huh. I also watched the S and SuperS movie and like half of the R movie, so it's a bit higher, all in all, but yeah, that's about it.
  19. Chibi! Chibi chibi. (and with that, I'm off for the night)
