  1. I wouldn't be surprised if Atris was supposed to be a party member. It's certain that she was originally supposed to play a much more prominent role in the game, considering the wallpaper/concept art of her fighting Nihilus and the sound files with her instead of Kreia as Darth Traya at the end. I really wish someone from Obsidian would tell us the original plans for the story.
  2. Planescape: Torment did something like that in quite a few of its dialogues, though not to the degree you describe.1. [Lie] I love you. 2. I love you. (...)
  3. About Atris: I agree that the revelation that Atris was a Sith came totally out of nowhere and was a real letdown after the brilliant argument with her the first time you are in the Telos Academy. I wonder what was originally planned for Atris. Both her and Nihilus were presented as two of the most important characters in the pictures shown before the game's release. In the game, they don't appear much and don't have anything to do with each other, although there's even a picture of Atris fighting Nihilus. Sometimes I believe that what we're playing is only the first half of the game with some scenes from the very end that now seem totally out of context because of the missing parts.
  4. Well, that's what I thought. Only my game thinks differently " With either 6x2-8+9x1 = 13 of 6x2-8+9/1 = 13 the game says: Incorrect Friggin' bugs in this game drive me crazy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Strangely enough, in my game 6x2-8+9x1 = 13 was supposedly wrong while 6x2-8+9/1 = 13 was correct.
  5. He's talking about the Nameless One's 'tomb' beneath Sigil, so no, you must have passed it. And you can't skip it, so far as I know. If you just get the Bronze Sphere without exploring, Lothar just sends you right back there to get a 'skull' from your own tomb. The only way to proceed is to let yourself die several times (with the appropriate key in hand) to let the maze know it's you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not sure about that. You need to get the Bronze Sphere for Pharod, who doesn't want any skulls, as far as I know. Later, when you need to get a skull for Lothar to get Morte back, you don't really have to return to the crypts to get your own skull. He also accepts Soego's skull and the skull of the wererat chief. I think it is possible to skip the tomb, but I never tried it, so maybe the player is forced to go there at some point that I forgot.
  6. How did you manage the journal puzzle? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You don't need to do that to get the Bronze Sphere. I guess he skipped it.
  7. You don't lose anything when you die. It's impossible to do some things in the game without dying a few times, by the way.
  8. "Die dunkle Seite der Macht."
  9. Actually, it is a bad comic book.
  10. I don't think KotOR classifies as a 7. The identity of the character is used as a plot twist, not as an introduction. The game never centers around the question who the protagonist is, and once his/her identity is revealed there are no mysteries left. Numbers 3a and 5 (before you find out about the PC's identity) better fit KotOR.
