  1. Personally, I find heavy rouge seems to be a bit offputting, unless maybe you work in the Salty Mast.
  2. Wait wait... Sata3 speeds are up to about 600 MB/s, which outclasses the maximum PCI bus speed of 533 MB/s, so why waste money with that? Plus, once you start doing multiple cards on PCI bus, things go south in a hurry. Unless you mean a PCIe card... Also, I love my very quiet p182 case.
  3. The one thing that I'm saddened by on this thread is that nobody asked what you use your computer for. That will dictate what you should get far more than anything else. So.... What do you currently do with your computer and what do you plan on doing with it for the next year or so with it?
  4. I'll second Gorth's comment. The days of seeing any kind of performance increase for your video card are long over, but you can still see stability updates even with older video cards. Unless your card is no longer supported by the driver release, you should continue to update your drivers, provided that the bug fixes in the rest include games you play. However, there is also wisdom in the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' mantra.
  5. Given your experience with the "browns", I think that you might agree that the extra $50 might actually have been worth it. I love my Unicomp, and would have paid easily an extra 50 for it. Far better than any other keyboard I've owned, since I had that model m back in the eighties. CPU i950 GPU 6870 3x 2gb ram HD WD 640 gig black Other specs don't matter My Linux server is my old core2duo 6750 plus 4g ram and some old 300ish gig HD. GPU is an old x1950 that I should replace with somethin a lot more efficient. (12.04LTS) Also have a laptop (HP envy 15 gen 2) that I use occasionally.
