  1. Ahh, Shodan. She was always putting me down. It didn't do my self-esteem any good.
  2. Absolutely agree about Malak and Morag. Malak especially, being victimized by a sith thug (I believe that was his prestige class) isn't exactly my cup of tea. Atris was interesting though what with the complicated relationship with the exile and all. As for good characters becoming villains, the only immediate example I can think of is in the Max Payne series. Theirs a particular character who serves as an ally of sorts in the first and a villain in the second.
  3. I'm finding it difficult to think of a really unique videogame villain to be honest. The Master? Hector LeMans? Kreia? Walton Simons? (I don't even know why he's there what with being Page's cronies and all. I just liked the creepiness) Oh! And Gromnir of course. I mean, what constitutes a good villain, I'd be interested in your opinions.
  4. Great work! I prefer Sarevok the first though. The second looks kinda festive.
  5. Arcanum. Just reached Tarant with my half elven bandit... Ned Kelly. I know... I have no imagination.
  6. Gah! Reading this thread has got my Deus Ex juices flowing... again.
  7. I'm having an LA kinda day. Remember this!
  8. Radiohead - Down Is The New Up "Won't you be my girl?" Radiohead? Doing sexy? Believe it.
  9. There are some villains you just hate, but some you love to hate. Torio is a villain that you initially hate to love, but later on find yourself hating but not quite loving, and then finally you cave in and love the hating but in a "just friends" sort of way, because you don't want it to get weird. Who wrote this? MCA?
  10. So THATS how Manny died, food poisoning.
  11. You're Swedish. What are you thinking, get your various chairs from Ikea.
  12. Merchant? Who says merchant? Maybe its just me, I can't remember the last time I heard merchant used in casual speech\typage.
  13. Well, perhaps not meaningless. It effects our immersion into the game world on some level. At least, I always thought so.
  14. This is the perfect opportunity to get me some icewind dale, I've not had a chance to get a piece of the action pie in all these years. Also... nice siggy. :D I love how years of prolonged staring has ravaged Spatsky's features.
  15. You do quick research! But yeah, I need an upgrade.
  16. IIRC, none yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Out of my league I bet. Looks a beaut though.
  17. Christy. Any word on the spec?
  18. Yarr, the PC version. And I enjoyed the first but it got a little repetitive and had some hammy lines. Still, I hear the plots great... a film noir love story eh? With naked Mona? Sounds… interesting.
  19. Just a quick question for anyone who has played, is Max Payne 2 any good? Its 9.99 on amazon, figured I might buy it. Other than that, I've just finished Bloodlines as a prissy toreador and am at the St Edgar's stage of Thief: Deadily Shadows.
  20. The Toreador had the same problem with the trenchcoat also. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My first playthrough was as a toreador...I don't remember them having a free flowing trenchcoat like the Ventrue. Meh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, you're right, the toreador doesn't have a trenchcoat. Malks do though. A white furry one... with an oversized red hat. Typical. Just finished the anarch ending as a toreador actually, odd choice I know... but I figure the snooty model type was sick of being a pawn. Still, I thought I'd at least see nines again before the game ended.
  21. You've gotta wonder what part drugs played in that though.
  22. not really. It was three endings depending on who you managed not to anger during the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, thats right. It was convo choices wasn't it.
  23. Girth?
  24. Yeah, thats right. None of them were very rewarding though cept the "good" ending.
