  1. Yeah, it is actually. Has a touch of the Evangelion though. Every character seems to have deep-seated emotional problems. That said, I much prefer this to that ****e.
  2. eBay! eBay! eBay! Part exchange them or, better still, send them my way. I've only ever thrown Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller which I've always regretted and, lets not forget, that game was ****. I think I'd die inside a little if I threw out either BG I or II.
  3. In Mass Effect charm/intimidate levels are unlocked according to how much of a paragon/renegade you are. Conversation skills are actually kind of important in ME, which is no bad thing. Thing is, this system completely ****s over all attempts to roleplay a neutral character. It's the KOTOR stat bonus all over again, but that at least fit the blinkered Star Wars take on morality.
  4. Man. Elfen Lied's ****ed up.
  5. First album in eleven yrs., right? I never really listened to them before, but I had a few friends call me after buying the album. Any good? I'd say so, though some of it does feel a little aimless. Portishead - Silence (great ending)
  6. Portishead - The Rip

Arcanum's soundtrack was appropriate, sure, but I always found it to be dull and depressing to the power of ten, yo. On the other hand, Tobin's Chaos Theory OST is the balls, as are the various Half Life soundtracks.
  8. The Dresden Dolls - My Alcoholic Friends

Mid way through The Yiddish Policeman's Union by Michael Chabon. It's very Coen esque... which is good since they're the ones adapting this.
  10. Good grief! Rosario + Vampire is fan service heavy. I'll feel cheap but I can't look away...
  11. I half inched it from the circle. The Thief series had some great artwork.
  12. Ah, The Sims. Also known as Bigamy: The Game.
  13. Boo!
  14. I've got to finish my dissertation before the night is out so it can be bound tomorrow and handed in on Monday. I'm looking forward to all this being over. Sweet relief!
  15. David Bowie - The Prettiest Star
  16. I don't know why, I love both games, but I'm surprised to see Fallout 2 and TSL featuring so highly on so many lists. A replay of both is long overdue.
  17. Hmm. PS:T Fallout BG2: SOA / TOB Anachronox Grim Fandango Deus Ex Thief: The Dark Project Half Life 2 / Episode 1 + 2 Freelancer Shenmue 2 Jagged Alliance 2* *Thanks to P Diddy for the reminder.
  18. I've got the dissertation blues, big time. I swear, this thing is killing me. No foolin'.
  19. You seen it yet, Mus? It's fully subbed now. What I don't get, , what gives?
  20. Not very well regarded by anybody? DX:IW was just as "generally applauded" as Deadly Shadows.
  21. I reckon The Dark Project best for plot, it's like steampunk noir or something. I'm wondering if, given Deadly Shadows ending, we'll have a shiny new protagonist for this one.
  22. Speaking of earnest, I once thought The Importance of Being Earnest was a prequel to Ernest Saves Christmas and Ernest Goes to Jail. That's pretty stupid.
  23. No problem, Mus. Sounds great so far. Radiohead - Airbag (!!!)
  24. Yeah, dude. I'm listening to it straight off the beeb website.
  25. Thom and Ed are being interviewed on BBC Radio 2. It's followed by a fifty minute or so Radiohead gig at nine.
