Steam acheivements work for me. Just as a note though, if you have your steam updates restricted to the wee morning hours like I do, the extra content -- including the Kickstarter Backer Steam acheivement, won't download. Turn that off temporarily and it will download.

For the Royal edition, there are 3 items: A tiny Obsidian wurm pet, a "Cloak of the Obsidian Order" which appears to be unenchanted, and on Steam at least, a "Kickstarter Backer" achievement, meaning only Kickstarter backers can get 100% of all Steam achievements You get all 3 immediately upon starting a new character, and entering the first area (the caravan).

The Amazon page used to say that they would be "contacting" everyone who has their name in the book with an "offer", hinting that we would be getting a discount on the hardcover because everyone listed in the thanks already gets a digital copy. That wording is gone now, so looks like they decided against a discount incentive to double dip. Oh, well...

They said that the game would be moddable, I think it might have even been one of the stretch goals. They also pubically announced that NexusMods.com was going to be the official repository supported for mods. They haven't announced any details yet as to exactly what will be moddable, some more details on that would be nice.

Yep, I'm missing mine, too. Edit: And I have (finally) completed the pledge management process. Got my silver badge but no KS badge. I did have a number of failed attempts before I switched to Internet Explorer to finish up, I wonder if that caused the badge issue?

Most likely this is where the offical Pillars of Eternity website will reside (and any successor games), and eternity.obsidian.net will remain the "backer's" website.
