Thank you for the Italian localization !

No one can talk about piracy in this game, we paid in advance !!! Me for example backed 380 USD, many other Italians did the same with more or less money, I really hope to be at least considered as a "CUSTOMER" with equal rights as others languages customers.

You can use services like "viaddress.com" for receiving goods in USA and then from there ship to europe. When you ship you can declare any value for the goods.... wow! is this legit? It's not legit to declare a value lower than the actual value of the contents. You'll only run into problems if your package gets inspected. I do not agree, onece the material is in my home (viaddress home) I can ship it everywhere in the world and if I decide that it value is 5, 10, 15, 20 dollars it's up to me and to no one else. I'm sure there are a LOT of backers that are not in US and would like to use something like this if it's legal and solves the customs issue. If Obsidian could look into this... it would make possible for a LOT of backers to raise their pledges a bit more. Sure, basically you do shopping over USA via ebay or in this case for PE, you will have "free shipping" to your USA address, then you have 3 months for ask them to repack everything in a single box and ship to your final address (for me Italy). Since it will be a shipping from your name in usa to your name in europe it will be a private - to private shipping and you are able to say "it's a 20 dollar value". I've already used it some times and got no custom taxes. Only one remarks: viaddress service is free but right now they ship only with FEDEX and prices are not so cheap, if you collect many goods, before shipping to your home always ask them for a repack, it will allow you to save money for the final shipping. Ok, I want to be propositive, Obsidian should give us a hope: put Italian translation as a goal for 3.6M ! Yes it's very hard but this will be a "win-win" solution !!

This is taken from faq: What languages will Project Eternity be in? The initial release will be in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Polish. We are also looking for ways of translating the game for our fans all over the rest of the world. As we have more information and our funding increases, we’ll make sure to keep everyone update on what languages will be coming with Project Eternity. I think that Italian translation will not be announced before the ending of kickstart, BUT, depending on how many request they will receive from Italians and depending on how much money they have received, it's possible that they will add it officially in final version. So if someone is interested in an Italian localizazion of the game it's time to say it to Obsidian here in this forum and in their Facebook page! :yes:

I want to suggest to ask for an Italian translation on Obsidian's facebook page too, this will bring much more attention and visibility than in this forum.

They have also to consider this: why so few Italian backers ? Many people from Italy may have only a basic english knowledge or may be they just prefer an Italian native version... all of them are still waiting for the official announce of Italian support before buying the game. So... 5 days left for announcing Italian support and getting money from many Italian customers.

I agree, they should consider (MUST DO) an Italian translation !!

Are there any plans for the Italian translation ? I've seen no announcements on 2,4 2,5 and 2,6 goals talking about any more translation.
