As always there can be times it is better to part ways. But I don't think this is an especially urgent topic. There are some populary accepted rules for behaviour everyone has to follow and no title relieves you from this. Being part of a community also means to respect the rules of conduct the community chooses. Otherwise... see my first sentence.

The title marks the spirit of a certain time, and it's an approval of this spirit. If someone should really misbehave badly it's up to the moderators what to do with him. And you can't buy reputation with a title.

As sister said, I'd like to close the books on sunday. Obsidian didn't give a concrete date for closing Paypal, but personally I think there has to be a line. After what I've read in this thread I think it should be soon. The Order is no official add-on like the Almanach or a T-Shirt. Paying a little bit more had its main purpose while there have been stretch goals to achieve, for example helping to bring in George Ziets or making the game world bigger. As there a no further goals, it's getting harder to explain for what this money is actually spent for. I'm sure everything will be used to make the game better, but it's becoming vulnerable to scepticists and nitpickers. Obsidian made a lot of money to create an awesome game, it was a great campaign and some people are already working on bringing the order to the next level. So I'd say on Monday we pass over to the next chapter. I think after more than 600 manual given titles poor Fionavar, will also be thankful for a rest.

Making it even is optional, as long as it's at least 8 bucks above the tier + add-on(s).

Thank you for your nice words. Please don't forget that the Order lives through all people who participate and contribute to the community in their best way. Some write poems or songs, some create stunning badges, some give guidance to the newbies and answer questions, some are entertainers [...] Let me put it that way: There might be a time, new members would have to live without a shiny OEI forum title. In return one would not have to pay for membership. At the moment, as there is no structure or special meeting place for the Order I can't say what the future holds.

Don't know if it was a matter auf dislike. All that I know of is, that he didn't play it up to know. Could be simple time management, that interfered with it. As I posted yesterday on Kickstarter, proof or it didn't happen. YouTube Let's Play, that's minimum I'd say.

You are on the last list I've sent to Fionavar. The list is about 112 entries. You will, my friend. I have to ask for your patience. Fionavar has a very long list, since there is a rush on the KS campaign now and the numbers of the Order increases rapidly atm. You will get your title, but it might take another day or two.

I too had this same question, Where exactly does confirmation of title happen? (Dread Necromancer) Terrhwulf (Of the Obsidian Order, Master of the Dracolich) dlux takes care of the official list. I'm sure he won't miss you. If he did so, it wasn't by purpose. Just give him a small reminder.

From our side it's a honorary system, but OEI can check it. Just think of the shame when it turns out someone tried to cheat. Welcome, Brother. dlux will add you to the member's list soon.

Unfortunately not. It's independant from add-ons. We've been the first but unofficial PE add-on if you like to see it that way.
