Here's to hoping that Saints Row 1 & 2 will hit the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, soon. I plan on buying an Xbox One X(or maybe just a One S) to play Sunset Overdrive and the remastered Halo games and being able to play the first two Saints Row games again with better resolution and framerate would sweeten the deal a whole lot more.

That is true. However, people nowadays tend to love collecting physical goods and showing off their collections on teh interwebz. I am no exception myself. I think physical media still has a place, in console gaming at least. I wish more people would practice what Sony does: let people be able to buy and keep digital games with the use of pre-paid cards, even if they don't happen to own a credit card.

So it is the age of gaming critics buying companies and developers now?! Gamespot should hire a team and make a sequel to Kingdoms of Amalur, then I will like them...a little.

I concur. <3

Lol a new Deicide album came out here a few years ago and I was in the record store, it was full of pre pube girls buying it in droves and I was like ....wtf??? I asked the guy behind the counter what was going on. Apparently there was a boy band here called Decide who released their album here the same day and all the wee girls were buying the wrong album and the guy CBA telling them of their mistake That was awesome, thanks for sharing.

DRM is normal nowadays?! Sony won this generation with this video and this video alone! However: I am afraid Sony is no stranger to this tactic either: https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/691087-playstation-4/75377513

Yakuza 0 keeps getting better and better. Osaka is sooooo fun to explore, lots of people with interesting stories and backgrounds to interact with. It also helps that the main story isn't your average hollywoodian garbage.

Oh they were already in Rise of the Tomb Raider, nobody started the ****storm back then tho :-P Just goes to show how much do people 'jump on the bandwagon' as opposed to doing their own research. And Ass Creed: Unity / Syndicate too, for that matter, as far as I know anyway. No, it just goes to show that at some point, even people like me who aren't exactly a video game journalist notice something like that appear in a Deus Ex game as opposed to 'some Asian game I heard of once'. That's the point where **** hits the fan and people(naturally) start to 'jump on the bandwagon'. Please, pardon us simple folks if our 'jumping on the bandwagon' happens to insult your intelligence, chief. Oh yeah, I guess I have to add one of these, too: ' :-P ' There!

Capcom trying to fix DR4: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-10-09-dead-rising-4-update-will-bring-back-original-proper-frank-west Still haven't played 3 or 4, I wonder how bad they can be. Shadow of War, Battlefront 2 and now... *drum roll* AC: Origins: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-10-09-heres-the-deal-with-assassins-creed-origins-in-game-loot-chests I can't believe they are putting this sort of thing in a single-player game! I thought Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would be the first and last game to introduce misconstructions in a SP game but it seems I was wrong. I'll be sure to spend my money on games such as Cuphead, A Hat in Time and Steamworld Dig 2 before I touch any of that stuff. I'll probably buy those other games once they hit the bargain bin.

Same as I said to ShadySands applies to Tetris, and as I said I was looking for games that could be played on a Mac (via emulator too if need be). If you have a way of playing Breath of the Wild on Mac, I'd love to hear it (also because I would love to give it a go). Her Story. Papers, Please!. A Hat in Time.

Replaying The Longest Journey. Man...what. a. game. After 17 years it still feels fresh and is probably one the most well written games I've ever played.
