  1. It's gonna be Oblivion with guns*.. why would they need the Mystary engine? * Atleast they're probably going to use the engine to build on..
  2. Yeah, and AMD's new prices are rather reasonable aswell.. with their monster 5000+ landing just below Intels mid segment E6600, which it does fall behind in most tests.. I'm probably gonna try to get a Conroe system this fall.. been sticking with AMD since my first own home-built PC.. *sniff*
  3. Me?!.. no.. I'm innocent, I swear! Anyways, yeah.. then I'd skip the sellout part aswell and go buy the license asap... wonder if one could buy out WotC aswell, and make Obsidian/former BIS people finish Jefferson aswell as their take on Fallout 3.. before making Fallout 4 that would be the game of my dreams.. Would have liked to see those games... *sighs*
  4. Athlon 64 X2 5000+, from: $649, to (end of July): $282 Athlon 64 X2 4600+, from: $522, to (end of July): $224 Athlon 64 X2 4200+, from: $339, to (end of July): $175 http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=3361 Through the floor... yeah. I guess.. hehe
  5. I think I see your problem ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed. Wonder if something like Cleric (30)/ CoT (10) would have the same troubles.. Clerics rule... maybe even a straight lvl 40 Cleric... or the very special Rogue (39) / SD (1)... HiPS is nice.. btw, how the heck did you get that one... human ranger (20)/ dwarven defender (10)/ arcane archer (10)... lol (w00t) I usually stick to legal builds when I cheat...
  6. I would do it the other way around.. First make a game that would sell billions of copies, to generate large amounts of cash, then buy the Fallout license from Beth.. then make the game of my dreams.. which kinda comes close to Hades vision.. only being Fallout instead of cyberpunk.. Cyberpunk would come close second for the chosen setting thouhg.... But maybe Hades premise is that he already has tons of cash.
  7. Most of the places you can pre-order from mentions a toolset thingy coming with the preorder.. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...30entry652480 And scroll up a bit.. Or here http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewt...488172&forum=95 "Since then there have been murmerings of the possibility of an actual NWN2 toolset pre-release. No details and nothing for sure though - but it would be the NWN2 toolset, even if it wasn't all of it (all the NWN2 content would be a bit much for a demo)." That together with my wish for it makes it true. It would suck dearly was it the old NwN toolset, and I can't see that happening. Edit: What would rule is if one of the Obs-boys said something official so we'd know.
  8. Appearantly there will be a Beta-toolset that you'll get if you pre-order..
  9. Aww come on.. US bashing is the most fun thing to do on the net. Ofcourse something like this has to be used.
  10. Awesome way to bring it back on topic. rofl :D
  11. It eases my mind to know that the most powerful country in the world is run by such highly educated people. Sweden's government is no better, the recent Net-Pirate debate has proved one thing.. that the politicians have no clue about the internets!...
  12. Hey JC.. thish ish shome.. *hick* Aweshome wine... divineish almosht.. *hick* Kinda brings doubt to the account of his witnesses. And it ofcourse was non-alcholic wine, so you would be able to tell the story in sunday school.. yes sir.
  13. There are tons of epic storylines before the LotR books took place.. it's like 6000 years of history that Tolkien worked out just for fun.. That's why I think his work is so great.. the background history is immensly detailed. You have the battles between Melkor and the other Valar, the battles between elves and Melkor about the Silmarills, stuff about Numenor, the war of the Last Alliance.. just to mention a few..
  14. My thoughts exactly.. If we're to trust the critics, it was the best wine they've had. Though, I bet they were rather drunk at the time, since they had already been drinking alot, so maybe their reviews were a bit off. Kinda like the main-stream gaming critics concerning Ob... erhm. "
  15. Well, the White Council isn't really same time as the books, dissolved before, after they drove Sauron from Mirkwood no?.. bet the game is gonna be about that. But yeah, for LotR there is so much unused time... I'm with ya there.
  16. You can play both female and male.. says that on the official site if I'm not mistaken, atleast David Gaider or what that guys name over at Bioware said that. The only thing that is fixed about the main character is appearantly his/her job as a commander, and his/her last name which is Shepard.. so then each voice over they just say Commander Shepard... regardless of it being a male or female.. nifty..
  17. Most main-stream gaming "critics": 9.9 Awesome game, woooo! Codex: What? Why are you talking to me you ************ about that *********** game **********.. Yeah, ofcourse we ******* knew that *********** game would suck **************************. Edit: Added more profanities.
  18. These three games is what might make me buy an Xbox... *sigh*
  19. No, but he appearantly made some damn fine wine.
  20. Plato is one of my favorites aswell.. his own philosophical statements have such depth it's almost frightening.. take this one about wisdom: "He was a wise man who invented beer." - Plato It is mind boggling... such truth.. just.. damn.
  21. wtf?!.. Fallout 3.. number 5?.. and coming out in 2006?... that's so funny. Hurray for Obsidian though.
  22. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hah.. I like these more: "The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing." "I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing." "I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance." The last one is one I can agree 100% with, now if that makes me wise as the two others proclaim, I will leave to others to decide. Painfully slow non ninja-edit: Great site btw, thanks for the link. Found this one to my tastes aswell.. "Imagination is more important than knowledge." - My old buddy, Albert.
  23. Actually, while turn-based is what the hive-mind wants, it is not necessary to make a game a CRPG... I don't think party NPC is a must either. But otherwise you're spot on I think.
  24. Looks like it's gonna be a beta version of the new Toolset.. that is immensly rad!.. *runs of to preorder* btw.. the Obsidian guys don't post much about NwN2 here do they?
