Heh. Ya know, this is a "Final Fantasy" thread, if you don't have anything positive to add or you don't care for the series then why are you wasting your time posting here? Just curious. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I was making a positive comment on the quality of three Final Fantasy games. also, for the record, If I had a PS2, I'd be looking forward to FFXII. What I read about it sounded pretty good, and Yasumo Matsuno, the game's lead designer was responsible for a few of my favourite games of all time.

My point wasn't that Final Fantasy is the video game equivalent of Britney Spears, but rather that popular recognition means exactly diddly squat.

There are good JRPGs, it's just that the Final Fantasies aren't among them, except perhaps for III, V, VI.

You mean like Britney Spears, or the Back Street Boys, or The Bold and Beautiful, or Friends, or the movie Armageddon, or Fast and Furious or Danielle Steele's books. These are all brilliant examples.

I've played Silent Hill, and I'd say it's pretty scary, although a bit cheap in some of it's scares. And the ending level sucks.

I have to agree. And I don't think Resident Evil was that scary. Is the remake scarier?

You'll also notice in the Bible (if you've even picked one up) that he does in fact say that he and God are the same person. You'll notice that Jesus went to the Synagogues on the Sabbath day as well. Bottom line is, he did everything to set an example and to teach humans how to live, even right down to his death. As for the whole crucifixion thing, it's a very deep concept that can't be explained easily. But it involves God taking sin onto himself, lowering himself so that he could get close to humans and vice-versa, to take the punishment for himself so that we wouldn't have to.
