  1. To the OP's question, engagement just seems not to work in this game. My tank is supposed to be able to engage 3 enemies but enemies just run right past him and he has to chase them down, at which point they have already reached my weaker party members. Not at any point has it seemed to me that engagement works, unless enemy AI decides to attack my tank, because I have somehow physically blocked their way so they cant run past my tank.
  2. Many good replies here. One thing does come to mind is that one would assume that the factions could be convinced to work together in some way, or at least some of them. If "realism" is important then this should be considered at least. I don't think it's very realistic that all factions think that they should simply dominate the region - after all there has been cooperation as well as intrigue between them so far.
  3. I love how condescending people are on this forum. In the vein of "I feel bad for you if you don't think the way I do..." Or turning hostile just because someone has a criticism of the game you don't agree with. Really? I agree fully with the OP - there should be an option to walk away from this quest, without making a high diplomacy check, once you realize you cannot convince either side - right now it basically forces you to choose sides. Once I initiated dialogue with the druids I could not walk away, that is bad design from a role playing perspective. No need to tear your knickers just because someone thinks so. Talk about fanatics...
