Nah, she just took the things that were already there and then "skewed" them Of course I might just be biased, towards Wick and co. I played since like day one, well of the public release, so I got real "comfortable" with that style. It's kinda hard to explain.

I'm not saying she's not a nice person I'm just saying I'm unhappy with what she did to L5R

In my opinion messed up the storyline <_< She's a good writer, and I like the gamebooks she wrote for L5R and 7th Sea... but I really didn't like the "direction" she took things when she was in charge of the story.

In the RPG I played almost exclusively Scorpion B) As a side note: Ree Soesbee is why I got out of the CCG I really didn't like how she took the story.

Both are good solid clans (though I'm not as familiar with them in their 'current' form) Back when I played I played Phoenix almost exclusively, though I tended to play them like a Scorpion. :ph34r:

You don't seem familiar with the setting There's a lot of magic in L5R, they just try to downplay it. (note: I've played the CCG since Imperial up to HE, and own the PnP in all it's forms so )
