Sorry to hear that, Tale. Yesterday, I brought my brother home in a shopping cart. We might or might not have been totally drunk.
-
I ended up completing the game. My opinion didn't change really. It does everything that I want from Fallout wrong and does other stuff right.
-
I gave up on Fallout 4. I gave it a chance. A whopping 13.5 hours. I just couldn't take any more of the writing. I didn't like the character development and the general streamlining. Some cool places to explore, but all in all, I wasn't feeling it anymore. I wanted to uninstall after half of that playtime but I wanted to give it a fair shot. I can see why people like it, but with the most important aspects for me, not being that great, there was no reason to keep playing. For example: I love Fallout: New Vegas despite using Gamebryo and being in a first person view. What that game had that I liked, was character development and solid writing.

I've spent 7 hours with Fallout 4. The shooting is improved. I don't want to tlak about the rest. I'll see if I can rush throught the main quest. If not, it's not a big deal. I'm glad I didn't buy this.

That's what I expect, not liking it. But I want to give it 5-10 hours and finally experience it first hand.

I see that Fallout 4 is free for this weekend. I'll give it a try, finally, but I highly doubt that I will end up buying it.

Well hopefully they don't get payback on you or some nonsense. Work of late is getting weird, seems like we were some hustlers whose game ran out. Open office concept is GREAT by the way. Have some manager who must think it is alpha to shout into the phone. Also helps that he loses his head over every issue. Damn, people suck. Nah, they know how I am. I've been working here for six years and it's not the first time I lose my temper with them. I doubt they want to get rid of me and they usually don't do the payback thing. I told them the first day: You're going to get to hear what's on my mind, good or bad. They know that had they asked me, I would have most likely worked those extra hours. I don't know what they were thinking not telling me this time. Women, I don't understand them.

I also had an annoying thing happen at work. A coworker came over to me and told me that I will be working 6 hours more than usual on Friday. I asked: who told you? The responded that they had heard the higher ups talking. I then kept being told by others like this was a fact. Later, my bosses (all three of them) came and asked me if I could work extra, liked they hadn't decided among them selves already. I told them with a firm declining answer, told them that I will never work extra gain, and left the room. I think they know that they messed up by not telling me.

Still going strong in Grandia and instead of playing a Tales game, I have gone back to Suikoden V. I have never gotten all 108 stars in this game, so that's what I am aiming for. Then, I'll start Digital Devil Saga 2 and Suikoden III. I really want to 100% these and be done with the PS2.

I have stayed away from gaming every now and then when I felt that way. I came back with a strong urge to game after that. I once stopped playing games for a whole year. It seems to me that aiming for platinum trophies like you do can also burn you out. I used to try to 100% everything during the PS2 era. I now just try to do the stuff I like and if there is a game where I want to see everything, I have started using guides to find the content. (JRPGs only)

You know you want to Platinum Xillia 2 :-D Anyway. Have you finished Tales of Berseria yet? If not, I think playing it before Tales of Zestiria makes more sense. Or it's your 2nd playthrough of ToZ? I'm probably going to finish Xillia 2 but platinum it during my summer vacation. I haven't bought Berseria yet. I will get it. Zestiria takes place after ToB, I know, but I want to save it for last as it seems to be the best game in the series in a while.

Wild ARMS XF is done. I'm now resuming my Suikden V playthrough. I'm playing like 15 different games at once. I don't know how I manage to actually beat games at all, but I do.

I'm almost done with Wild Arms XF and I have reached the second disc of Grandia. I have a strong urge to start playing either Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Symphonia or Tales of Zestiria. In other words, I want to play a Tales game.

Pathfinder CRPG with Avellone and without Obsidian announced
Labadal replied to Doppelschwert's topic in Computer and Console
It's real time with pause. Seems that Obsidian aen't getting projects that I think they should get, but I know nothing about video game business. -
If it makes you better, my list goes into the 250's.
-
I put most of the blame on Paradox in this particular case. I don't blame other publishers for previous Obsidian games.

Has he new Twin Peaks season started yet? I'm interested to see what they do with it. I'm also looking forward to the new season of Fargo. I'm optimistic about one of these.
-
I heard it's crap and you should especially avoid it if you're a fan of the books/series.

Wild ARMS XF on PSP. I've started this and abandoned it twice. This time, I have gotten further than any other try, Third time's the charm and all that. I'm also really getting into Battle Brothers. I've read that some people here wouldn't be able to get into it because of the graphics, but the gameplay is bloody grat. I could see this getting repetitive after 50 hours or so. At the moment I am having a great time. Unfortunately, I need to get a lot better. I have basically every achievement that has to do with the player sucking.

Sorry about double post. Yesterday, I was out running in summer clothes, today it was freezing and I had to wear a jacket. Funny how weather works. Almost mid May and we're still getting snow. We will spend the entire day outside on Wednesday and the weather forecast is "cold and snowy".

Expeditions: Vikings? Always start with everyone equipped with shields. You have two weapon sets. It will help. If it's not about said game, I'll show myself out. yeah vikings, how far you are? and don't worry, already know that trick with shields... I haven't started the full game yet, but I did play the first campaign when the game was still in alpha and beta. It seems most tactics that worked then, also works in the full game. Be sure to have one or two spear wielders. I also loved the axes. My main character and Gunnar were dual wielding them and we wrecked **** up. There was one fight that destroyed me, but I came back to that one after gaining a few skill points and better gear.

The latest Mr. Robot episode I watched was a bit of a mind**** in a good way. I wasn't expecting that. Not watching much TV or anything these days. Black Sails is the next to-watch series for me.
