  1. Surely you'll be waiting a very very long time, if not forever. I'm a master at playing the waiting game! Diablo III Final Fantasy: Type-0 Final Fantasy Versus XIII Tales of Graces F Are all games I have been waiting for for a laughably long time. Luckily, my backlog is also laughably huge.
  2. Batman Arkham City. Haven't had much time to play. Next time I play, I think I will enter my first boss fight. I'm also playing a waiting game. KRATER is what I'm waiting for.
  3. These sales aren't bad. Deus Ex 3 already has a price of
  4. Read this on neoGAF: NA: 320k EU: 480k JP: 20k
  5. Batman: Arkham City. Really enjoying it. Only complaint would be that the camera gets annoying sometimes.
  6. Fire your friends. Get new ones. I forgive them this once. The same two guys told me to watch Boondock Saints. I can't get mad at them after that.
  7. Butterfly Effect. Some of my friends have been telling me for a long time to watch this movie, so I did to get them off my back.
  8. Slightly interested, but will have to wait for impressions on this one. I enjoy the LOTR lore, I had fun with prior Snoblind games, but the gameplay doesn't look great. Hope I'm wrong and the game turns out to be great.
  9. A shame really. I wish you all the best in the future. DSIII and NWN2 expansions did as others said look very good.
  10. Thanks! Will have a look at those!
  11. Played F:NV for an hour or two. This is my first playthrough on PC. Still undeckded on who should get my aid. Might join the Legion this time. Planning on destroying every minor faction and being an a** in general. Already had some fun in Goodsprings. R.I.P Easy Pete. Anyone have any suggestions for good mods? I'd like more music options on the radio. I love the songs already in the game, but I want something new. I also hate the fighting in the game, just like I hated it in Fallout 3. Is there a way to make battles less frequent? Or maybe allow more companions fighting by my side? ___________ Also crawled back to Dark Souls. While playing other games, I kept thinking about how I didn't want to give up. Finally managed to kill some minibosses. I'm now wearing a bull haed as a helmet.
  12. Took a break from Dark Souls and will come back to it in a month or two. I've had enough of it for now. (Me not being good enough and not having enough time atm.) Started playing Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll on PS3. I can play a mission or two without having to stress.
  13. Finally had some time to play Dark Souls. Reached the Taurus Demon. Ouch. I freak out everytime he gets close! Took me 2 tries before I realized I could kill the archers before I initiate the actual boss battle. Still doing poorly. Will try again later this evening.
  14. Finally had some time for Dark Souls. Beat the tutorial boss and arrived at the second area, doing some exploring and fighting annoying skeletons. Still too early to give serious impressions. game looks better than Demon's Souls, but has already been slightly annoying with bad frame rate. Playing as a cleric atm, and I have slowly gotten used to the fighting again. Still not great in melee, but I manage.
  15. Can't link, but I would like to recommend the Radiant Historia OST. my favorite tracks are #2 and #16. still playing and enjoying this game.
  16. Still waiting for my copy to arrive. Completed Deus Ex: HR. Enjoyed it a lot. Will buy the DLC if impressions are positive.
  17. Reached second city in Deus Ex: HR. If this keeps up, it'll be a GOTY contender for me. Doing a no kills playthrough and haven't set off any alarms yet. Have also only used 2 tranq darts outside of boss fights. I need to finish this soon, because it isn't long 'till Dark Souls comes out, and then Batman Arkham City but I don't have much time to play lately.
  18. Outsourcing, eh? Wierd they outsourced an important aspect like that. Time restraints or not. I know it happens a lot, but boss fights? I could barely survive with the augs I had chosen. (stealth/hack focused with zero bullts fired prior to the fight.) I am enjoying the game, but I am not looking forward to future boss fights.
  19. Reached the first boss, and it was absolute s***. I know this has been discussed all over the net, but damn that was not a fun fight. What were they thinking?
  20. Royal is a good class to begin with. You get soul arrow that really helps you in the beginning and you get an MP regenerating ring. I did my first run with a royal and it was almost like easy mode compared to melee, because I would just stay back and use soul arrow. You can develop your character however you like, so if you start as a royal and don't like itm, you can develop that character into a battle mage or whatever. I ended up with a mage/thief(assassin) combo.
  21. My opinion so far is that is a great game. In fact, it is one of the best JRPGs this console generation. I only rate two JRPGs higher: Demon's Souls and Tales of vesperia. It has great exploration, with big and beautiful enviroments, big cities with lots of inhabitants and there are lots of quests to do. Different quests are available at different times of the day (there is a day/night cycle). Music also changes during night and day wich is very cool. My favorite part of the game is believing I have visited everything in one are and then suddenly stumble uopn a new area that is twice as big. The battle system is probably my least favorite part of the game. This doesn't mean much since I actually enjoy the system. I would probably compare it to FFXII or an MMO, but that's just me. You do have to be alert in fights, because they have this system that warns you about what a strong enemy might do in a near future, and you can then prepare for that attack with buffs, heals, etc. Some characters needs some strategy, like they need to be paralyzed, and then toppled to be damaged. There is lots of loot and you can also craft your own gems and put them in sockets for weapons and armor. You get AP to raise your skills. Story so far is good, nothing amazing, but I would call it above average. The writing is ok, but I'm not a big fan of the Brittish vocie actors, they are ok, but I personally think they sound funny. I need to play more and get furter in the main quest to give further opinions on the main story. There is an affinity system for each person and area in the game. Help solving sidequests in an area and people will like you more, rasing your affinity. You can lose affinity depending on how you solve some quests. All NPCs also have affinity towards eachother that gets affected. The character designs aren't really to my liking, but I do like the world design. It's really great, and makes me want to find new places. Last but not least: The soundtrack. Amazing and one of my favorites of all time. It's uploaded on youtube if you are interested inlistening to a few of the tracks. Would I rate it as high as FFVI and Chrono Trigger? i don't know yet, I need to beat the game first. So far it is great, but it isn't up there yet. If I end up liking it as much as FFVI and Chrono Trigger, I will be mighty impressed. (FFVI is my favorite game of all time. Chrono Trigger is also an amazing game that I love.)
  22. I've only seen the first one, and it was amazing. Is the second movie better than the first?
  23. How are the loading times on PC? I really enjoyed the game, but the loading times on PS3 were . I haven't seen reason to complain about them. Good for you. The load times on PS3 aren't just worthy, they are the worst I have encountered in any game - ever.
  24. Bought Alpha protocol and lonesome Road. Question is when I will have the time to play them.
