  1. Sup All I have just got back from 1 months leave at work, I had the most invigorating and productive holiday over Xmas and NY I traveled to the coast and spent time at our family beach cottage, I reconnected with some friends and family members and then went to Cape Town where wine farms and good restaurants were the order of the day I got to work yesterday and look forward to a productive and prosperous 2018
  2. He definitely took the easy way out, avoid all that media attention and eventual jail time I probably would have done the same what are you talking about? Police dropped that case. Are all people mad these days? You are ok with ruining peoples lives without trial? wtf Accusations of misconducts are typical in politics especially in USA. Just look presidential race of 2016 and how many accusation were made against candidates without any trials. Okay one candidate was but on trial and was convicted (Trump University lawsuit and judge approved settlement) but that didn't prevent him to become president. Other candidates were accused, among other things, of running child prostitution ring in pizzeria and even for committing treason and nobody seemed to want to wait investigation let alone trial. Politics is ugly business where one needs to have thick skin when it comes to accusations of misconduct. If Johnson was innocent he should had sued people accusing him instead killing himself, because later only makes it worse for his family. Guys this post demonstrates for me one of the best ways to make a convincing point using logic and facts without emotion or diatribe. Its hard to dispute this type of perspective, nice one Elerond And something else, I dont feel even the slightest sorrow or sadness at the suicide. Am I suppose to feel bad in some way?

Are all people mad these days? You are ok with ruining peoples lives without trial? wtf He was also suffering from PTSD, I have had PTSD in different forms over the last 20 years or so I found it to be very treatable once you recognize the symptoms. He clearly found it easier and more palatable than actually facing the charges.....if you consider the fact he would have been charged as a sexual deviant and already had appalling racist charges against him I am surprised he took the suicide route His career and life was basically over

  5. Trump 2020!Sharp_one what would be the main reasons you like Trump Please be honest, I can guess but I would rather not His politics and his stand against the liberal agenda. That would be the main. What was your guess? Trump 2020! Similar to your own and I would have added something like " there is perception or view that in some parts of the world white, males are being blamed for certain unfair things or generalizations are made about them around what they can or cant do. It seems to be some sort of campaign or narrative. Its nebulous but does seem to exist " I have seen this before. I am collecting as much data to explain why people support Trump
  6. Yeah, he's now being stubborn and not conceding because he wants to wait until all the votes are in and until tomorrow, because 'god wills it' or somesuch. I guess it's fair enough if he wants to wait until it's all in, but still.... He's also calling for a recount.Well it is his right, but since he was denied fair trail and due process before I'm not surprised he will be denied this to. Jones wins will give Dems one input - it's possible to win using mud throwing again. Waiting for the paper ads "Will accuse a candidate for $$$. Two accusations in price of one." Trump 2020! Sharp_one what would be the main reasons you like Trump Please be honest, I can guess but I would rather not
  7. This is one of those real developments in the USA that despite me asking the question its not actually about getting the correct answer Its more nuanced and for me this is about a much more almost symbolic balance to restore or align the USA to a more reasonable view where many people who voted for Trump can still determine better moral judgement and not just vote on political expediency ....its very relevant in its own way
  8. Somehow this fails to surprise me at all my friend dated 16yo or 17yo when he was over 30, they are together for 5 years now. You can have intercourse from 15yo here. Its nothing uncommon I wouldn't say you are sexual deviant, that would be rude You are Czech...no need to say anything more about your sexual predilections
  9. https://www.yahoo.com/news/iraqi-pm-declares-end-war-against-iraq-004417661.html Iraq has been officially "cleared " of ISIS according to the Iraqi government and the Iraqi authorities are in control of the Syria/Iraqi border again This is good news I suppose but ISIS is an ideology so they will still exist in organised and nebulous structures throughout the world, like Libya and Syria
  10. The definition to describe him appears to be an ephebophile, someone who has sexual encounters with adolescents who are generally the age of 14-16 http://www.newsweek.com/sexual-assual-ephebophila-roy-moore-pedophilia-713683 https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/ephebophile But he is still a sexual deviant volo, why are trying to undermine his crimes and his actions?
  11. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/12/10/alabama-race-no-win-proposition-republicans/935188001/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzRss&utm_campaign=usatodaycomwashington-topstories https://uk.news.yahoo.com/apos-alabama-deserves-better-apos-170632496.html So who do you guys think will win in Alabama on Tuesday, Moore or Doug Jones? I have to say Moore sets a very low bar for the Republicans with all these sexual abuse allegations and women coming forward
  12. Well, at least we can finally put the whole "Republicans care about the deficit" nonsense to rest...and then the "Republicans care about states' rights" as well when the FCC royally screws up the internet and makes it so states can't do anything about it. Just crappy excuses for obstructionism when it suits them, nothing more. Guys this is just another terrible and unnecessary decision....I cant believe anyone would choose Trump over Obama if you could somehow swap them ?
  13. oby was the Russian oby. Ben is the Western oby. And Qis was the Malaysian muslim oby. And they all loved Bruce, and Bruce loved them. Alas, oby and Qis disappeared and so there's no happily ever after for him. edit: Well it is one of those stories. Kind of like why the love-emoticon is called wub, not wuv like one would expect. That dates back 17 or so years. Speaking of wub, does anyone know where 'Tess is up to these days? Yeah I did find it a bit odd when I received such compliments from Qistina..... for some reason I battled to believe it
  14. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/trump-today-president-tweets-anti-muslim-propaganda-promotes-tax-plan-from-which-hed-likely-benefit-2017-11-29?mod=MW_video_latest_news More Islamophobia from Trump...he never seems to learn
  15. Guys Western countries like the USA generally only " hack or interfere " in countries that are not Democracies or are dictatorships....this is not the same as interfering in the elections of the USA which is an established Democracy What happened in the Canadian election should not be seen as interfering anymore than you see a father discipline a child as abuse..its well meaning and not malicious Canada would have investigated properly if there was real damage done or criminal intent Also most people outside of North America consider Canada part of the USA, I would let the USA annex me if I was Canada ?
  16. I have to recognize your posting style adroitness, you often make posts that I either agree with or it complements my point.... you improve on my point, impossible most would argue You often good with words and its often funny But its not true there is no evidence but I am not going to post any links because I dont need convincing
  17. volo you need to expeditiously and prudently update your understanding of the Russian cyber -espionage campaigns against the USA and other countries and developments like interfering in the US election https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/wp/2017/01/25/senates-investigation-into-alleged-russian-hacking-begins-without-end-in-sight/?utm_term=.2d995d546bec http://www.factcheck.org/2017/06/timeline-russia-investigation/ No one is seriously asking "did Russia interfere in the USA election "....we know they did, the evidence is irrefutable Of course Trump questions the evidence and so do some of his sycophants .....you could align with them but do you really want people to think you are a Trump-puppet ?
  18. Barti this article is really funny in how it reveals the blatant inconsistency of the story ...it made me laugh so much with the irony I am no longer in a irritable mood so thanks
  19. http://www.localsyr.com/news/local-news/trump-says-he-believes-putins-election-meddling-denials/855613540 This has got to be a new low for Trump? I dont know of ONE other US president who trusts Russia over there own intelligence agencies? GD, Gfted1 , Shady, Hurl, Gromnir , Red and all other US members this cannot be acceptable
  20. GD you know Im a Democrat supporter but I am concerned with the lack of prominent Democrats who have a sustainable and constructive vision for the party and the USA At the moment it seems the Democrats live and respond only to what Trump says or doesn't say ....I dont see or feel real inspiration like I felt for Obama The Democrats need to focus more on there own narrative of why people should vote for them and focus less on Trumps fairly regular vacuous or controversial comments
  21. What I found interesting is how long Mosul took to subdue, a year or so and then Raqqa and other ISIS controlled areas less than 6 months. I suppose ISIS would have used most of there military resources at Mosul so once they were defeated that was the backbone of there defense http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37702442
  22. My Dad flew to Cape Town last night for a conference around plants, he is retired now and is committed to conservation , and he met the estate agent who is trying to sell that cottage ...he asked some interesting questions. See the responses below Would we be able to make alterations to the cottage or is it under a heritage programme? No heritage programme, the cottage can be changed as you like it. You could also build another dwelling on the property without departure. What other conditions are there relating to land usage or protection? It is zoned as agriculture so you would fall under the these zoning restrictions. It is outside of the nature reserve regulations so no restrictions from that side. Of course, if you wonder over the boundary into the reserve then the reserve usage regulations would apply. The seller has put a restriction on building on the southern slope of the koppie (it overlooks his other property over the river) Does it have an electricity supply? No, it has solar panels for minimal power needs. What are the conditions of purchase? Are you the selling agents for the property? Aside from the above there are no other conditions. Yes we are the agents for the property.
  23. Well same offer applies to you and Hurlshot, you would basically pay for the flight and some spending money Transport and accommodation is free ?
  24. You mustn't worry about the crime, yes it is real and worrying but we dont see it and its not something you tend to think about in most places
